Easy, guys. Jamie's one of my favorites. 

To be honest, there's probably nothing else I can say about her wearing that shirt that can't just be filed under "Settle down, southofheavyetico."

Speaking of her music, that brings a topic to mind that might enter hot take territory. AEW's in house music smokes WWE's. Mikey Ruckus is this generation's Jim Johnston. And it's not even close. Rational opinion, or crazy hot take?

Def Rebel will never make anything that even vaguely sniffs the same universe as Eddie Kingston's DMX knockoff theme or either of Hangman's themes.  PS I know Hangman's songs are just knockoffs of Ecstasy of Gold and Man with a Harmonica, they still rule.

Kingston's was specifically one I had in mind as supporting evidence. Lucha Bros AEW music was better than either of thier WWE musics. Willow's music is perfect for her. I know they're carried over from New Japan, but Osprey & Jay White's music are great. Hayter. Julia Hart. Lots of really well done stuff.

I think what's most telling is that Jade Cargill and Ricky Starks' themes are as close as their AEW theme as they can be without anyone getting sued.

I know. Hell, have him come in and be in her corner a bit and cut an old time Franchise promo.  Or is he an anti-AEW grifter now? I haven't kept up.

I always liked that show since it was alluded to that Balki Bartokomous was from Greece. Of course, I was 12 when the show ended and had no idea what xenophobia was.

Also I caught Dynamite this morning and I didn't mind the song Mina came out to. Probably could have used a slightly different presentation (different outfit, different dance routine) but it was fine.

So I'm not a music entrance guy, I probably would only recognize a handful of entrance themes when they come on. Its like my brain just shuts down during entrances. One time a guy that does a music entrance podcast asked me to come on to discuss Joshi entrance themes and I told him honestly I didn't know a single one and would be a terrible guest.

I say all that to say - I think Mikey and CFO$ are inoffensive but the reason I think (well know) Def Rebel sucks is the lack of pop for so many entrances in WWE. Or the fact during the Rumble the fans for 75% of the wrestlers have to wait for the name to pop on the screen to know who the fuck is coming out because so many start or sound similar. For every Seth or Punk with distinctive music there are ten others that sound generic and don't encourage that immediate fan reaction.

So AEW music is fine to me and Johnston was the GOAT but man Def Rebel sucks at their job and understanding one of the purposes of entrance music.

Kyle Fletcher might be the best heel in AEW right now. He bumps like a freak for everyone, knows exactly when and how much to stooge, and then can flip everything on a dime and hit some crazy offense to piss you off more. Plus the look. I really had him pegged as a white meat babyface but he can make a shit ton of money as the top heel.

... and here I was about to say the Perfect Strangers theme is the best TV show theme ever.

I'm going to disagree, and will mention Ricochet instead. We never had any idea he was going to be this much fun as a heel during his WWE run.

Ricochet is right up there too, but a different kind of heel (the delusional kind). They’re both fantastic, and have really surpassed the guys like MJF of late.
