The Green Meanie Posted April 17 Posted April 17 They really did it! I'm pleasantly surprised. Also, while I do enjoy the actual lineup, I think I'd prefer the The Ops to actually be Joe/Hook/Hobbs instead. Kinda bummed that Hook missed out on gold, but happy that Joe and Hobbs got titles again.

The post-match tease of Mercedes/Toni definitely feels like the biggest match but I'd still be surprised to not see Athena in a big spotlight at All In TX. Hangman/Josh ruled, and the Hangman/Okada bit backstage was fantastic. Enjoyed the tag titles and post-match segment. Ospreay/Takeshita was one of my top favorite matches of the year, excellent stuff there. Great main event and awesome feel good moment that felt like a fitting "wcw overcomes the nWo for a night" kind of vibe. Epic closing visual in a super cool venue. 4 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted April 17 Posted April 17 The women's division has been on fire so while Mercedes/Toni is a huge match and would make sense for 'All In' I hope that Athena, Statlander, Willow and the rest of the women have something going on for that event. They should have minimum 3 women's matches on that show. 7

The most surprising and beyond expectations Wild Card in the Owen-tournament history having an awesome match with a main eventer. A tag team title match that gave us a consolation prize for missing out on Hurt Syndicate vs Murder Machines plus MJF scheming to get into HB again. A rematch of a PPV classic that was different from the first one but just as, if not even more crazy. Main event with HOOK replaced by Hobbs, Young Bucks getting stomped by Swerve, Death Riders losing a title and Jon Moxley choked TFO! It's not rocket science, folks! 2

And the Toni tease was great. I'm really hoping Hayter ends up winning this as her character is probably the one that would benefit most. 8

I also didn't check out Adore or Machina until a few years after they came out because a college friend really liked them. They were aight. Haven't listened to anything since then, or ZWAN. Brandon Bones Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Well hot diggity dig diggity dog. I looked into going to these shows but there weren’t seats available that I’d drive down from Cow Hampshire to get. Hopefully the loop next time comes back to ManchVegas. This was fantastic. I guess I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that seemingly AEW is in a better overall spot than I perceived them to be in recently. The poorly attended events in large venues and some of the reactions to the shows never seemed to kill the spirits for those who enjoy the alternative. Even with the looming shadow and bile left behind when back stage steps in front of the stage. Yuck all day. Stepping back to view from the macro level. There are a LOT of “characters” on this show that’s supposed to hang its hat solely on match quality. This makes me happy. Like say being able to anticipate Sheldon’s reaction and also understand why HE makes the choice he eventually does. I wonder what would make him change his mind now that the Hoe Train and a free watch has failed? MJF: Sex Trafficker. Not a good look. I could see MJF taking some Andrew Tates on-line courses. So it checks out. Not sure how I can handle all these awesome matches on TV. Let that not go unsaid. Liked seeing the champ get choked out on TV. 4 1

Which leads to Athena vs Mercedes (after she beats Toni at All In) at like All Out or Forbidden Door for all 7 or 8 Women's Titles they will have between them. Let's get Mercedes up to 11 to surpass Ultimo lol. I joke, but really I'd love to see it. Their match was fantastic last night and I think they have an even better one in them with some build and importance behind it on a big PPV. But a Women's Casino gauntlet is the way to go for All In. Last year's men's one at All In was really fun. Let's get a lot of the women on this year with a few fun surprises. 2

To be clear, I like 2 and With Teeth, but not sure they rep the best of either’s work. The Reznor catalog from the Social Network forth feels better repped by his award winning and consistently strong score work. If we’re evaluating NIN it kinda centres, for me at least, on those first five years. Nice debut for Josh Alexander. Don doing his talking is perfick!

But I figured that pointing out that my CD library is missing practically everything that is considered their (his) essential listening would have been enough of a clue, so I wouldn't have to point that out. But since I like music, there usually is at least something from a worthwhile artist's discography in my past or present music library (excluding maybe 3 million bands, or thereabouts).
