COLETTI Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Swerve and Hangman can respect each other but still mostly hate each other. If they ever shake hands, it should be many years in the making.
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 Tony sure does love adding last second matches. Card should be finalized now. 12 matches. Enjoy the show.

Raziel Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 That was an outstanding PPV. With a MASSIVE WET FART of a Main Event finish. 1

Raziel Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 That was like every 2004-2009 TNA PPV ever. Great show, just shake your head at the Main Event finish. 2
Niners Fan in CT Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 There were some great matches for sure, I think my favorite match of the night was Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne. That was incredible stuff. The triple threat match was really fucking good too. But... you know what's worse than Jon Moxley holding the title hostage? The fucking Young Bucks helping him hold the title hostage. It's not "heat" for me. It's change the channel status. Fuck this entire story line, it's been going on way too long and it sucks 1
Overly Critical Man Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 That may have been the worst AEW PPV I’ve ever watched. Jericho fulfills his destiny and actually steals from the Sting/Hogan Starrcade ending. The Death Rider angle finds a way to somehow sink to a new low. Toni Storm seems to be wrestling in a different dimension because she’s not tainted by the lifeless, directionless mess everyone else is involved in. The goddamn Young Bucks… ugh ugh UGH! 1
Cobra Commander Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 was the main event made better by having to wait until past midnight eastern time to see it end? 1

Then they gently rock you to sleep with some boring ass trash lol. Anyone expecting Swerve to win, I wish I had your optimism in life. TK's not moving off his plan that's been written in his notebook for a year. That triple threat was other-worldy. Such high degree of difficulty, such innovation, such execution. It's now my favorite triple threat ever just barely beating out Joe vs AJ vs Christopher Daniels.
Niners Fan in CT Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 I was complimenting AEW a lot these past couple of months too. I felt the booking had gotten a lot better. But this is fucking terrible. That was a WCW 2000 level ending. 2
Sublime Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Swerve should have won off of Pages Deadeye cause Swerve succeeding due to Hangman’s help would be interesting storytelling. Instead we get …… something 1

dorfus malorfus Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 The most depressing thing about the Death Riders debacle is that all this wasted time is leading to Ospreay getting the title in Texas instead of Darby. 1
The Natural Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 I wish Tony Khan would call an audible and not triple down on this Death Riders bullshit admitting he's got this badly wrong. It's the drizzling shits.
The Natural Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 So Anarchy in the Arena and Blood & Guts will see Death Riders/Young Bucks vs ?. Forbidden Door Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship likely against someone from NJPW and then hopefully loses it at All In likely to Will Ospreay. Fuck. Hangman Adam Page is my first choice then Darby Allin. 1
dorfus malorfus Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Does tonight's finish significantly increase the odds of Jungle Boy being the wild card in the Owen? 1

Phantom Lord Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 I thought the show was all right, but man did the end of Mox vs. Swerve annoy the hell out of me. The Bucks were off tv because they were scared to death of The Death Riders. Now all of a sudden they want to help Moxley? It made no sense. Aside from that, this show went way too long. Jericho/Bandito could have been saved for the ROH PPV coming up in Atlantic City. Fletcher/Briscoe while a good match, could have been a Dynamite main event. 1

Craig H Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Really awesome show, but yeah, I'm of two minds about the main event. I'm not thrilled at all about Mox still being champion not because it's Mox, but because this gimmick and angle forces him out of having excellent matches with excellent finishes and in particular continues the overbooking mess and the stranglehold that he has on the top of the card. I love Moxley, but I fucking hate that this angle has taken all the fun out of the guy. Swerve winning would have been the better finish. On the other hand, I really like the Young Bucks (when they're motivated which it seems like they weren't in their last title run) and I had completely forgotten about them until their surprise return. That really shocked me. Toni vs Bayne ruled and now I have an even bigger crush on Toni with her no makeup look in that montage. The triple threat was fucking insane. For a match where there was no other outcome other Kenny winning unless Kenny spontaneously combusted mid-match, it really fucking delivered and shocked the hell out of me. I could do without Speedball screaming all of the time though. Man, FTR really kicked the shit out of Copeland. I mean, damn, they beat his fucking ass. Really cool moment for Bowens. Max Caster is the biggest fucking Jannetty. For the health and sake of the futures of Kyle Fletcher and Chicken, please don't let them face each other again. Excellent match. Those two have the weirdest, best, most incredible chemistry that I wouldn't have thought two guys would have. Garcia is the perfect opponent for Cole because they both look like cruiserweights not wrestling like cruiserweights, they're both good wrestlers, and Cole's stuff doesn't look so goofy against someone the size of Garcia. Weirdly enough, between the two, I think Garcia is the more credible guy between the two of them to be a future world champion in AEW. Otherwise, the TNT title feels like such an underwhelming title when two of your other champions are wrestling gods. The Undisputed Kingdom is still dumb. There's plenty I'm forgetting about, but be sure to check out Toni's limerick from the press conference. I about died. 2

DreamBroken Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Absolutely loved the International title triple threat. Incredible match and easily one of my very top favorites of the year thus far. That was peak 'why I was excited for Speedball to come in', Omega on fire, and Ricochet doing his best work. Great stuff all throughout. Thought Toni/Megan delivered excellently as well. The women's Owen being tough to call had me thinking Bayne might pull off the win. Good to see Toni bust out the small package victory again. Sad to see the end of Rated FTR with them trying to kill off Cope. Jericho/Bandido had it's moment, the false finish almost got me. Thought the main event was pretty good as an overall match, surprised they went longer than the 3 way as it didn't feel like it. "it's the freakin' Bucks!" "The Pride of Pro Wrestling" Anthony Bowens coming back with Jane's Addiction theme music is star quality, that rules. 2
