Automatic promotion is so tight in League 2. Bradford City were 0-2 away at Chesterfield then 1-3 to draw 3-3. Doncaster are top on 78, Port Vale 77 points in second and City on 75, 1 point ahead of Walsall. We play Doncaster next and Fleetwood at home. I think we'll miss out on automatic :(.

This would so pain me...especially on the 40th Anniversary of the Bradford City Valley Parade Fire Disaster.

Cindy: "Just think! If Wrexham get promoted and Man City lose the court case, they could be opponents next season!"

No chill, that woman. 🫀

We lost 1-2 to Doncaster after another stupid red card, Aden Baldwin there and Richie Smallwood vs. Swindon Town. Thankfully it's still in our hands as it ended Walsall 0-1 Accrinton Stanley thanks to a rocket of a goal, Ben Woods volley. Bradford City are third on 75 points and Walsall 74. City are at home to Fleetwood and Crewe vs. Walsall on the final day of the season. If we don't go up automatically, I don't think we will through the playoffs. Few teams do after missing automatically.

Can only hope the one after the fact goal Bodo is what saves them next week when the6 get their suspended players back.

Bilbao I think I done.

Championship final day is already bonkers, with five clubs running for the last two playoff spots and a five-club dogfight to avoid the last two relegation spaces. As things stand it's Sheffield United, Sunderland, Coventry and Bristol City in the playoffs and Plymouth and Luton facing the drop. Watch this space.

Amazingly, those early results stood up. It's Sheffield United vs Bristol City and Sunderland vs Coventry City in the playoffs, and Luton and Plymouth joining Cardiff in League One. Spare a thought for the Hatters as that's two straight relegations.

In brighter news, shout out to Paris FC! Promoted to Ligue 1 for the first time since 1979.

FT: Bradford City 1-0 Fleetwood Town. Scored in the 96th minute, Antoni Sarcevic when it didn't look likely at all. Good job it was in our hands with Crewe Alexander 0-1 Walsall. Bradford City are automatically promoted to League One. The ending was bittersweet though, the club will be heavily fined for that pitch invasion. So unnecessary. So stupid. Should be a lifetime ban for the twats with flares. Congratulations, Bradford City!

Congratulations to Leeds United going up as Championship Champions, AxB. Heaving in Leeds today. Had to go in as it was Free Comic Book Day at Forbidden Planet. My go to comic book shop since my LCS closed last year.

Great season for Leeds, Doncaster and Bradford City.

Onana gets a full day off, Bayindir starts and Amauro is clearly keeping some people fresh for Europa.

Β

United currently down 2-1 with half an hour left.

To be fair, neither goal was really Bayindir's fault and were both pretty much unblockable.

Make that 3-1

EDIT:4-1 and the back line is a fucking mess.

Horror stat: This is Reuben Amorim's 24th Premier League game. 6 wins, 12 losses and 6 draws. 15th in the table.

I can't fully blame Amorim for the record as he's using the same team EtH failed with, so he's only working with what he has.Β  There's a decent chance United wins Europa which gives them UCL football next season, so that'll help money wise, but the squad needs a massive overhaul, especially of Amorim is going to keep trying the 3-4-3.Β Β

I feel for Ruben Amorim stuck with what Erik ten Hag left him. Man he lumbered you with bad buys.

To give you an idea of how badly the bottom has dropped out for LA Galaxy...

Sporting KC just became the first team in MLS history to win a game without recording a single shot.Β  (1-0,Β  OG by LA)
