Fun Collision. Garcia-Cole was nicely contested. A needed strong showing from both - Cole especially. These guys have very good chemistry together. I like the play for Match 3. This has turned out to be a nicely booked rebound feud for Cole. It's also provided a needed rival for 'Danny'. The presentation of this match to a wider audience would've benefitted entrances, but neat choice cutting right to the action. I missed much of it, but Julia-Aminata looked pretty good from a sideglance - I will have a second look. The Aminata-Deeb promo was interesting. I like Deeb carrying around the book. Nice to see Harley get a little wacky again. Hobbs/Briscoe/Romero-Takeshita/Job Squad was good solid action. Yes, more Takeshita clean strong wins. This was very enjoyable breakfast television.

Wow, I guess I can be really short about this half of Collision. I came in at the very end of the opener and it was alright. Dunno if Garcia is going for tweener or heel or "I don't give a fuck" face or what with that post-match. Loved Caster getting killed again, but I wanted suplexes. Harley rules. Stupid me not knowing who Harleygram was... Aminata/Anna could have been better. The pinfall open seemed more performative than competitive. Aminata with the bug-eyes was goofy. And then the six-man was starting and I fell asleep. Maybe I'll rewatch before part 2 tonight.

Didn't really watch the Fox/Martins vs. Deathriders match. It looked very workrate heavy from what I saw. I looked up at the end and there were the Martin Bros. getting choked by bling. So there was that; I'm always up for a good choking. (That... that doesn't sound right. Ignore.) The ginger Undisputed is still funny. Okada said 'bitch' again. Need some new material dude. Johnny the Fox keeps showing why he's such a great utility player by having great looking shit and making everyone else's shit look good. The monkey flip where he went right on his face, I swear I've never seen that done before. I don't think I've ever seen a stolen mask worn by someone before either but Eddy probably did that to Rey one time or something. Bandido gets revenge! Toni comes out and I can't believe says "I have an Oedipus Complex about myself". 😳 Man, she's really worked out some serious shit here. Harley has yet another finishing move! She took my advice! Then we had an absolute corker of a spotfest from the luchadores. Komander pinning vertically for like three seconds on that run-the-ropes flip to the outside right before the finish was INSANE. Ingobernables could still stand to be better rudos, even Dralistico, but the crowd wants the flippies so I guess give it to 'em. Small but fun show to push things forward.

This version of Timeless Toni Storm is even better that what we had before. Seems like Mariah's betrayal awoke something in her. Megasus is a huge obstacle, but she does not seem daunted one bit!

The crowd was really into AR Fox here! Good for him. Does anyone know what notes Claudio has pinned onto his ring jacket? I guess it's just "Upper cut, Upper cut, Upper cut, Double Stomp, Upper cut, SWING!!!" in case he forgets his match?

Was Romero subbing for someone who had trouble getting to the arena due to the weather or was this the original line-up? Good action here and good to see Callis Family with a win after the pretty rough times at Revolution.

HarleyGram ended up not being much of a factor in the tag match, which is probably for the better, since this was the second main event and all. Even with Harley's popularity, it's probably not a great look to reduce an exciting lucha tag match into just a comic relief. I will point out that while Mortos didn't exactly seem repelled my a maskless Harley, it did seem like he gave absolutely zero fucks about her, as she ran past him to fetch HarleyGram to join the match from backstage.

I caught night one of Collision but before this thread closes just had to post this.

The Alt Text version of this is it's a video showcasing Megan Bayne then Toni Storm's response.

Why am I posting it?  Because the combination of Megan being Greek plus Toni going all ancient mythology speaks to me on such an intense level.  I'll have to tag Nice Guy Eddie later on mobile but this is the only match I'm looking forward to at Dynasty.

Speaking of getting comments in before the thread closes - I didn't like Wednesday's Bayne/Statlander match as much as most here seem to have. I love Stat, but I thought she took too much of the match.

Admittedly, I might be a little too all in on the notion of pushing Megan Bayne as an unstoppable force. (Especially since it seems likely she's going to be a one-and-done title defense for Toni.) Regardless, I liked her match against Thunder Rosa a lot more.
