Well, we're on the path to Dynasty! But there's soooo much to do and so little time! Cope wants one more match! Kenny Omega needs a challenger! Megan Bayne needs a jobber! We looked around and then we found the man for YOU and ME! And now it's.. So... since we have all those needs, we have Dynamite! Here's what's in store! Springtime for Hitler and Germany! They must have seen the situation and flown in early, I don't see Cope or Mone flying into an airport six hours away and driving through a blizzard. Although I'd be impressed if I am wrong.
For Great Justice Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Lots of discussion the last few days on what kind of “trade compensation” would be adequate for AEW to allow Sting to induct Lex into the WWE HOF So, here is my apples to apples (legends contract for legends contract) suggestion: Mick Foley to somehow be involved with (referee, announcer, or intro video) whatever death match they have planned for Mox in Texas Given the respective histories, maybe Edge and Christian vs Mox and Claudio in a Texas Death Match. That feels like a win/win. E&C reunion while hiding the limitations of Edge in particular. Blows off the Death Riders angle without the title involved (Swerve vs either Ospreay or Hangman in the main event).

RVD has said before that the Legends deal doesn't (and hasn't) stopped him from wrestling for AEW, but that AEW just can't make merch for him. Some wrestlers may not be involved with AEW under a WWE Legends deal just to not make WWE mad but it seems to be a bit fuzzy on what they can and can't do since Luger said WWE advised him and DDP not to be on camera for Sting's retirement match. That's all to say while I don't know if that is a fair trade, I still hope AEW allows Sting to do it if WWE does indeed ask just out of respect for both of them. But after HHH took a shot at AEW when TK allowed Gunn to attend one years ago I can understand the hesitation. 2

Things I Remember From This Week's Edition of AEW Dynamite Ricochet heeling it up and getting part of a win so that they don't have to directly job Speedball to Kenny The crowd size didn't seem any smaller than usual despite the blizzard Mone vs Billie was a fun one and that head drop move from Billie feels like it's really taking a chance to do that move without really hurting someone Copeland vs Moxley was a brawl, Moxley is a crazy person, they did the same bullshit finish as usual and brought back all the Death Riders. Dax is mad at Copeland. Copeland acting like he's gonna take time off after this one Ospreay and AR Fox had a fun one and our main event is Megan Bayne in a match to extend her feud with Toni Storm. Easily one of the best WWE pick-ups they’ve ever had, anyone that disputes that it flat out fucking WRONG. Also: yeah, sorry, Swerve ain’t winning the title at Dynasty. To me, the path from here seems pretty clear. Swerve loses, enters the Owen. One side of the bracket, Swerve & Hangman make it to the semis and face each other - Hangman wins, tying up their series at 2-2-1. Other side, Ospreay makes it to the finals. He wins, maybe Swerve costs Hangman, maybe not. But they settle their feud once and for all, in front of a big stadium crowd, maybe it’s for the #1 contendership. The freak in me wants to see an exploding barbwire deathmatch in a stadium. Ospreay wins the title from Mox at Y’All In. Also, Billie is too good to rot away in ROH. Bring her up with Athena. Niners Fan in CT Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Thought the show was great. It feels like whenever there's a weather event that affects pro wrestling, the shows end up being good. I enjoyed Copeland and Mox a lot more than their PPV match. That nasty street fight shit is what they should have done all along. That's what they are good at. Billie/Mercedes and Bayne/Stat both kicked ass. 2

tbarrie Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I was confused when the world title match started halfway through the show, but I figured by the time the show was over it would be clear why it couldn't have been put in the main event slot. But as it happens, not so much. Anybody have any thoughts?
