hammerva Posted March 28 Posted March 28 The Kevin Willard thing is so strange as it really feels like the majority of people tied to Maryland basketball are actually pissed that they made the Sweet 16. I guess this would be if Steeler fans would be mad that they went to the Super Bowl (just a scenario I know I know) after finally thinking that management would be pissed at how a Tomlin season usually happens and change things
RIPPA Posted March 28 Author Posted March 28 The way I am seeing it is they are more pissed that he "ruined" their tournament run by basically bringing all the unwarranted attention It seems they were gonna get boat raced by Florida no matter what but it gives folks an outlet for blame. Well that and the fact that basically everyone is ignoring that Maryland had a good season now because of how messy it got at the end
Pete Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Doug Bruno is stepping down as DePaul women's head coach after a mind-boggling 39 years at the helm over two stints.

Dolfan in NYC Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Despite how weak and corrupt it is, I think it's clear this is how professional free agency would be if the NBA/NFL's players had never formed a union. 1
Tabe Posted April 24 Posted April 24 In the 1970s, Charlie Finley suggested MLB have free agency every season with every contract being one year. The players quickly realized that would screw 98% of them so they went with the current system. College players will get there eventually.
