Candido sounded pretty normal, right? I haven't heard him talk much (or even wrestle).

Like most of the locker room, he def had his substance abuse issues, which is one of the ways Stevie and Lance were atypical.

I was mixed on Stevie’s pod…some was good and some was blah.  Then I noticed I hadn’t listened in a bit and the episodes in my backlog were titled “Where wrestling went wrong” and “We’re killing the business (move by move)” so I cancelled and deleted it.  I guess the Cornette route was too hard to resist and that’s an easy audience to go after, but that’s not my thing.

Funny. I think his analysis is spot on regarding most of these topics: less is more, be safer, etc. Obviously YMMV.

While the broken neck was the worst injury, he had some other ones (like the broken nose)  that would definitely effect your POV about the business, especially regarding safety.

Guy had a broken neck back that kept him from going to WCW so I could see why his opinion on safe work would be what it is

Stevie was in WCW for a few weeks, but I could see that broken neck being a big problem in regards to him staying in WCW

Well I know THAT, I just meant about his actual voice.

What was Stevie's voice thing again? That was a car injury, right? (Too lazy to look it up)

yhea he got signed, then promptly got released when he failed his physical.

I though Stevie made a solid point about The Creed Brothers Cannonball being unsafe cause its hard for the giver or receiver to control the impact

seeing as Stevie did parodies for a chunk of his career, how far could he go with a parody of other podcasters before he had to let people in on the act?

Although would Stevie need Blue Meanie to be his Ed McMahon/Brian Last to really hammer a parody home

For those of you that were religious listeners of the 605 Superpodcast, you're likely familiar with the name Jammie Ward, as he was part of the Dennis Corraluzzo crew and did a number of "Dennis of the Week" spots.  He's also been a multi time guest on John McAdam's Stick to Wrestling and the co-host of the 1981 Georgia Championship Wrestling Regional Rasslin' podcast with Ray Russell.  Jammie's also a member of The Othership Podcast, and this week we present Story Time with Uncle Jammie.  Jammie talks all about the amazing trip he and Tom Robinson took to Florida for Spring Break in 1989.  The Dusty Homecoming Show, drinking with Otto Wanz and Gordon Solie, hitting MTV Spring Break and more.  Give it a listen if you have a chance.  https://wrestlecopia.com/othership/othership094/

Brian Solomon had a guy who worked on the WWE Network (going back to when it was WWE 24/7) lot of interesting discussion of why certain things are missing or why certain things get added

gives an interesting answer as why you get say ten episodes from a random year of challenge. Has to do with them needing certain matches for various compilations so when they have say six out of ten digitized they just do the other four so they can have ten sequential episodes for the network.

Also a lot of talk about the state of various tape libraries when they where purchased and that leading to stuff being missing (The WCCW stuff was apparently stored in cardboard boxes in Kerry's barn), tapes falling apart when they try to do the transfer and having to work around unlicensed music
