Remember seeing old videos where Bill Veckk would put a shower stall in the stands for laughs. If you eat all that on a windy day you are either going to need a shower or a towel around you
Hamhock Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 That Old Comiskey shower still exists, too - they moved it to the outfield concourse of the current ballpark when it opened. 1

Ever. He does not. The Braves have placed C Drake Baldwin on the Major League roster. Before I state this, I will issue the caveat that I have been wrong about young Braves players consistently in the past. I thought Jace Peterson was going to be Grady Sizemore with more defensive versatility. I thought Rio Ruiz was going to make us all forget Chipper Jones. I thought JoJo Reyes was going to be Tom Glavine with more velo. Having said that; I have high hopes for Drake Baldwin. He's raked in the minors and if he could make Sean Murphy trade-able he might be my new favorite player...

Joey hit the longest home run I've ever seen in-person so he will always get a pass from me. And he did it when he was 18 and playing in Spokane. But, yeah, "doesn't walk and rarely even makes contact" is a bad, bad combo. 1
