💿 Psst, I see dead people... Ayy, Mustard on the beat, ho... Deebo any rap n*gga, he a free throw... Man down, call an amberlamps, tell him, "Breathe, bro"

I love Charlotte y'all.  She's out there really trying to pretend like she's going to choose Giulia to take on at Mania. lol. However, the larger point is, we've got two Rumble winners and neither of them have made up their minds yet... Jey got sonned by GUNTHER and Cody this week.  Charlotte got... um, daughtered?... by the crowds on both Raw & Smackdown (I think the NXT mutants still think they have a shot with her).

But who will they pick???

🎵 Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot, fuck 'em up. Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, I'ma do my stuff... Why you trollin' like a bitch? Ain't you tired? Tryna strike a chord and it's probably 🎵A-minooooooooooooooooooooor 🎵

That question is kinda important, because two Elimination Chamber matches are filling up with bodies, but no one knows which title they'll be challenging for if they win.  Kinda seems important!

💃🏿Yeah, it's all eyes on me, and I'ma send it up to Pac, ayy... Put the wrong label on me, I'ma get 'em dropped, ayy... Sweet Chin Music and I won't pass the aux, ayy

In other news, when he's not asking people to buy his daughter's girl scout cookies (while simultaneously confirming he's re-signed), Kevin Owens spent his time doing his absolute favorite thing....  murdering his best friend!

KO getting the green light to add a super finisher is only gonna be a good thing.  But, one thing's for certain, Sami and Kev's friendship is unique.  Or put another way, they not like us...

(If you don't have something nice to say...  come sit next to me.)

Enjoy the week!  I know Drake will!

Only the last two sounds remotely like normal names. None of the rest even pass for mediocre wrestling names, just so bad.

Karrion Kross comes a-...Kross(I'm sorry) as a genuinely charismatic, hilarious dude with miles of personality(His Ventura impression alone), but for some reason, he's never really clicked for me outside of how incredible his entrance was in NXT.  Just missing something to take his natural personality to the ring because outside of it he seems like a guy you'd love to hang out with.

Summer Holiday and Tate London would be funny mid-90s jobber names. Are these names for anyone or are they just trademarking random combos to give an unsuspecting college volleyball star?

Haze Jameson being the name for Hayley Montoya who is a former University of Buffalo volleyball player.

Would imagine the names will be popping up on LFG and Evolve.

Twitter Kross is such a gift as it completely explains why so many companies saw money in him, a kind of easy come charisma combined with decent size and a solid enough look. It never comes together in-ring beyond a solid guy to have in the middle, but it is good to understand why so many companies kept making the same mistake.

Some live rounds were fired tonight on Raw, I don't know if Iyo is the type to go for a receipt but if she was I don't think things would have looked any different.

Gunther interrupting Jey's entrance hype up and solidifying Jey's reasons to challenge him was good to see. Particularly dug how Jey's sold the beatdown, made his choice, and still got in a comeback.

Io/Dakota vs. Raquel/Liv was pretty good. They got plenty of time, paced things out well, and showed good chemistry with everyone getting in good moments. Liv and Raquel in particular have become a fine team in their current tun together. Not sure where Liv got busted open, but it added a little extra drama to the finishing stretch. Was happy to see Io get the win over Liv. Was even happier to see Rhea arrange a title match with Io after accidently screwing her over last week. In general I like the little relationship the two have as it adds a bit of dimension to Rhea as its the first time we have seen beyond the pure badass character typically presents.

Bayley/Lyra built into a solid match despite being a bit on the rough side. Glad Bayley won though I do wish Roxanne got involved in the post match to sell the feud with Bayley more along with their upcoming triple threat with Gulia.

Styles's segment was a decent hype up moment until it became something more with Dom and Carlito coming down to interrupt. Digging Dom as Styles's first feud back however short it ends up. That kid is still a massive heat machine. Don't think anyone got the level of reaction Dom did just for coming down.

War Raiders vs. Creeds was a good hoss match and got the crowd legit interested by the end. Didn't like the DQ ending, but I also think this is a feud worth building on instead of being a one off.

Punk's segment was feeling short and sweet until Paul came down. Skipped Paul's comments, but I dug Punk's last shots and how it bled into the Rey/Paul main event. Rey/Logan started off surprisingly rough with there being some clear miscommunication between the two, but Rey seem to clear that up fast once he got Paul to a corner to likely do a quick chat. Thought the match actually build into something nice with both guys doing some stuff outside of their norm and building to some neat moments. Paul's finisher was actually kind of crazy and something I'm not sure he can pull regularly given the size of some guys in WWE, but it worked well here.

The wrestling was mostly good here with everything probably being worth a catch. The women's tag was the highlight for me though Raiders/Creeds wasn't far behind. Dug what I caught of the segments sans the Seth/Finn interview. Still, this was another show where there was too much talking and not enough wrestling. I can get HHH wanting each show to be different in general setup to work with, but 4 matches for a 2 and half hour show will always be too few. That said, I still thought this end up a pretty solid show. The wrestling was good, and we got plenty of nice story throughout building to the future. Biggest complaint I probably have right now is not enough Bron Breakker.

Zapprudering this, she doesn't seem to be bleeding for the Kairopractor (~2:05) but she starts protecting her right temple when Raquel breaks up Kai's pin (~2:13), keeping her arm over it while Raquel is swinging her, and blood is visible at 2:32 when Iyo kicks out. That's when Raquel runs to the other corner to miss her spinning elbow on Kai as the ref checks on Liv. Blood is visible (2:39) before she goes for Oblivion on Kai, and the ref starts pulling on his gloves after that two count (2:57).

... so it might have been friendly fire from Raquel?

I've been enjoying WWETV lately. I'm sure not everybody agrees, but I thought the Charlotte/Stratton talk segment was excellent (at least until the Nia wrap-up). I especially liked Flair addressing everybody being obsessed with her 'looks'. The hate she gets often feels needlessly personal. Again, only started seeing her since the Levesque era, but very fond of her skill set.

This Raw show had me reaching for the FFWD button constantly. Jay Uso's entrance is an easy 10 minute ffwdd. Gunther kicking the shit out of Uso was a real treat. Nicely staged angle. Jay's mic work leaves a lot to be desired, even when it's as simple as it was there. I FFWDD the ladies tag to the finish. I was pretty stoked to see Lyra v Bayley, but it was not a good night for Valkyria. They got things going a bit better down the finish, but very rough. It's not a great sign when you're unable to be led by a ring yeneral like Bayley. I'm a fan of AJ Styles' in ring acumen, but goddamn is he ever a lame promo. FFWD. Thanks to Dom for saving this quarter hour. Styles v Dom, I'm in. I'm surprised to say I FFWD Creeds v War raiders. Couldn't get into this. Some of the War Raiders offence looks so flimsy - eg. the silly springboard doomsday. Their presentation woud benefit from some new ring gear not so reminiscent of their recent years as Vikings. These Tag Titles oughtta be moved along to an over team/pairing. The Creeds should have stayed in NXT for another year. They look like they're cosplaying wrestlers sometimes. Seth Rollins on the mic=Automatic FFWD. I'm a fan of FInn Balor, but here he looked and sounded like somebody who has no business being in any kind of big match. After all that came before it I had no time for Corporate Punk and his sign pointing. FFWD. The Rey v Logan main event was rough to begin, but they figured it out. Latter Day Rey rules, but not one of Paul's better showings. Loved seeing the New Day to close.  This was one of the weakest Raws I've seen in the last few months.

Calling Gunther/Jey now has me curious what a two month build will be like. Can they get it hot enough it can main event night one? Cause at this point, if Jey doesn't legit main event he could feel less important permanently

Supposedly Roman/Seth/Punk is the ME for Night 1.  And if they go with the same format as last year, would put Jey/Gunther or Cody/(Cena or Paul) as the opener for Night 2.

If they're really intending this to be Jey's coronation, then they could do a lot worse than putting Cody/Paul on to start night 2 and Jey/Gunther as the closer.

Liked the subverting of Jey's celebrations from last week with Gunther interrupting. Poor kid in the front row that took Gunther's jacket to the face. Like the idea that Gunther in trying to prevent Jey from picking him made the decision for him. Will be interesting to see what they do for the next month or so.

Enjoyed the Iyo/Dakota vs. Liv/Raquel matchup. Both teams have good internal chemistry and they drew the crowd into the match. The elevated Codebreaker was nice and I also appreciate that the default for Liv and Raquel is just Raquel using Liv as a weapon. I too was trying to figure out where Liv got busted open. Was expecting Rhea/Iyo at Elimination Chamber but the Raw after is close enough. Should be a banger.

Bayley and Lyra went for it and some of the things they attempted didn't quite work or come across cleanly but I'm okay with matches looking like a struggle. Had some nice moments like Bayley not getting her rope Stunner but getting it later or Lyra not cleanly getting her rope walk spinning DDT earlier only to nail it flush on the outside. Agree with Elvion that I wouldn't have minded a little bit more interaction between Roxanne and Bayley. They did do a digital exclusive between Roxanne and Raquel to build to that match next week.

Always a good city for AJ Styles. Until they really pull the trigger on Dom, this will always be a great spot for him. Liked them teasing Styles/Bron for the future.

Main roster Creeds work so much better as heels than faces. It's also cool to see how well the crowd has taken to the War Raiders. The finish was a bit wonky but I'm fine with them building this one out a bit. I do wonder if I'm LA Knight if I get annoyed at how effortless Julius makes the box jump superplex spot always look.

Not a whole lot of meat to CM Punk's promo but it bled well into Paul coming out. Plus Punk is always good for at least one great line and him dropping the "I didn't even know whose music that was" as a wink to all the Def Rebel music criticism was great. Paul and Rey had one or two spots early on where they weren't on the same page but they eventually hit their groove. Paul's finisher on Rey looked really impressive but I agree but definitely falls in the "probably can't hit it on everyone" territory.

Think Raw on Netflix has probably settled a bit into it's groove in terms of format. Enjoyed all the matches but similarly to the Rumble build, the Elimination Chamber qualifications are kinda taking over the whole show. It's cool that we got the tag title match and they're still slow building Ivy/Lyra but I wouldn't mind maybe 1-2 other storylines going on.

Watched last week's SD! while doing all kinds of stuff at the same time, but holy yeet-zuz, Jay was over with that crowd! So Smackdown is 3 hours now as well, right? Because this show just kept going! There was a bunch of good stuff throughout, but I was like, um I need to be leaving for gym and work now, guys!

Great breakdown it seems Raquel's forearm or elbow busted her open on the breakup attempt.

The other possibility (credit to someone on Reddit for this) is that it's one of the many tiny pieces of metal on Dakota or Iyo's attire that cut Liv when Raquel was swinging her into them. Either way - and I feel a bit ghoulish in saying this - I think it added to the match.
