Julian McMahon dying kinda hits me a little hard. Nip/Tuck was the first show (in my teen years anyway) that I can remember being obsessed with. I loved Charmed, and those two F4 movies are some comfort movies of mine. He really deserved bigger and better roles than he ever got. This dude was an incredible actor, in my opinion. He should've had big, leading roles. So incredibly talented. I'm so bummed right now.

This fucking sucks, man. Cancer fucking sucks. Fuck.

RIP James Cathcart (aka Jimmy Zoppi).   Voice of Meowth, Prof. Oak, Team Rocket's James, and many others.

He was 71.

A touch out of place, but Rebekah Del Rio, who most of you would know for covering "Crying" in one of the pivotal scenes of Mulholland Dr. has died. Fuck cancer as ever.

Malcolm Jamal-Warner, of Cosby Show fame, has passed away at the age of 54, according to multiple reports. Apparently the result of an accidental drowning.

Terrible. And presumably most people will want to post Cosby clips to honor him because of Bill.

When I was a little boy, my parents took me to a barber and they said, "you can tell him to cut your hair anyway you want."

I got in the chair so excited, knowing exactly what I wanted. I told the barber:

"I want my hair to look like Theo's."

Back then you didn't even have to say the name of the show, you could just say a name like Rudy, Claire and most everyone knew the show.

That day I learned that there was a difference between my hair and black people's hair. I didn't get it. I thought it was all hair.

Regardless, Malcolm Jamal Warner was the coolest kid in the 80s.

After the birth of my son, I rewatched most of the Cosby Show because I was young and clueless, and the Cosby family was like an aspiration to me. That was the kind of family I wanted.

I remember seeing Warner's performance and being struck by how varied his character was. He could be an annoying little brother or a caring big brother, while also playing a goofy teen without a clue. He could just as easily be cool or the fool, and his ability to slide between the two was deft and honest.

I'm sorry he's gone. He was a talented guy. I'm sorry a part of his legacy is tied to something that may no longer bring folks the happiness it used to because of one man's terrible actions. They did something truly special, and Malcolm Jamal Warner derves recognition for it

Top Hollywood lawyer Skip Brittenham passed away at the age of 83

He represented folks like Harrison Ford and Eddie Murphy but is probably most known for being Heather Thomas' husband

Was just thinking about her the other day since it was the 40th anniversary of Zapped coming out. (It was a body double, FYI)

I was wondering if we'd covered that at all yet. She was found with a combination of ethanol, amphetamine and antihistamines in her system which caused death. I don't know how Benadryl has a part in all this but I suppose it did. If you ask me it sounds like death by misadventure but there's probably a note or something we don't know/haven't been told.

Feels gross to be speculating on this though. She always seemed to be a happy and enthusiastic personality that brought joy to many. May she rest in peace.

I totally forgot that Malcom Jamal Warner basically played Wilbon on that sitcom where Jason Alexander was Kornheiser.

Another actor in the Burt Reynolds-verse recently passed. Alfie Wise, who died last month at 82, had 34 credits according to IMDB -- more than a third being parts in Burt's movies and TV series. One of those guys you always recognized in a Burt movie, but could never recall his name ...

That Truck Turner trailer is proof that the studios didn't just give away everything in a movie these days in them 😄

Also -- can you believe this? In all my years, I've seen people shot IN phone booths, but never threw THROUGH one, until now. That was awesome.
