KC is looking to trade OL Joe Thuney.

It appears he's going to Chicago.

They are giving up a 4th rounder in next year's draft

The Seahawks are releasing Tyler Lockett

He has already posted his goodbye to Seattle message on social media

He was set to make $17 million this season with a $5.3 million roster bonus that was due on March 16

And speaking of Seahawk receivers...

DK Metcalf has requested a trade

The team has reportedly agreed to at least see what trade options they can get

JSN gonna be real lonely in the receivers room at this rate.

JSN was clearly their #1 receiver by the end of season.  Metcalf is going into the last year of his contract and probably isn't going to get paid what he wants from the Seahawks.

The Raiders are extending Maxx Crosby

3/106 (91 guaranteed)

Lions definitely not liking this contract.

Joey Bosa was just given his walking papers by Los Angeles.

He blew out his knee on his way to pick them up though.

The fact that Bosa has already been in the league 9 years floored me

We are all so fucking old

Dak reworked his deal with the Cowboys freeing up - checks notes - $36.6 million!!!! in cap space

(The converted $45.75 million of his base salary into a signing bonus)

I think Cleveland basically has no choice but to draft Cam or Sherdur or sign a bottom of the barrel FA QB.

Tommy DeVito is re-signing with the Giants.  He'll make $1.03m next season.

As of now he's penciled in as the starter...  Because he's the only QB currently under contract.

The Lions extended LB Derrick Barnes - 3/25.5 with a bunch of it guaranteed.  Barnes missed almost all of last year, getting injured in week 3.  He was out so long I completely forgot about him when listing all the dudes the Lions were missing last year.

I do not hate this deal.

Reuniting him with his coach under whom he had his best success, at the cost of a 3rd round pick, is definitely a good deal for the Raiders.  And throwing away a 3rd doesn't preclude them from still drafting a QB if they want.

Sources: The Raiders plan to make Geno Smith their “QB of the future.” They have begun negotiating a long-term contract that will reflect that. Not there yet, but headed toward Smith receiving a multi-year extension in Las Vegas.

(note: Geno Smith was born in 1990 before the NWA rebranded itself as WCW)

I wonder if puts Seattle in play for Sam Darnold.

Man, those last two games cost him so many millions of dollars.

It isn't like the Seahawks were the Cardinals or some team stuck in mediocrity.   I would say they are the NFC version of the Steelers but at least the Steelers can make the playoffs before sucking in the wild card.    There biggest problem was their offensive line.   Now their WR1 was their WR3 last year and their best offensive player is a running back who gets hurt 80% of the season.  Unless they can convince DK to stay and why the fuck would he do that
