Contentious C Posted April 8, 2025 Posted April 8, 2025 Josh should be jealous of her plastic surgeon.
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 8, 2025 Posted April 8, 2025 Normally I wouldn't put a streaming-bound movie here, but... PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS US Release on Hulu Canadian Release on Disney+ Debuts June 6. 1

IN.

They didn't test back in those days. Whatcha gonna do, Viking, when the Dianarol Predator runs wild on you!?! 4
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 NONNAS Starring Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco, and Talia Shire Premieres on Netflix on May 9th -- This is about a Staten Island restaurant called Enoteca Maria. The gimmick is the owner gets a bunch of Italian grandmothers to cook in the kitchen. The food is always outstanding. If you're ever in NYC and feel a burning desire to go to (ugh) Staten Island... this restaurant is as good a reason as any.
RIPPA Posted April 10, 2025 Author Posted April 10, 2025 A stupid Vince Vaughn movie is gonna make me cry 1
Andrew POE! Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 https://www.vulture.com/article/cannes-film-festival-2025-lineup.html Cannes 2025 lineup got announced today. Some of these may come to the US. I hope to see Eddington, The Secret Agent, Alpha, Nouvelle Vague, The Phoenician Smile, The Mastermind, Sentimental Value, and Young Mothers at some point. Eleanor The Great might be interesting depending on how Scarlett Johansson does as a director. 2
Technico Support Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 My best life advice: Find someone who loves you like @Andrew POE! loves movies! You’re a good dude and I appreciate your posts. 3 1
RIPPA Posted April 14, 2025 Author Posted April 14, 2025 Since it was brought up - that is the teaser for Eddington 4
Curt McGirt Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 There's another Predator with... pirates... coming out, IIRC

They mixed up beefing up a cow with milking a cow obviously since the latter is where we’re at with this franchise now. Not that’s it’s going to stop anytime soon since they have an infinite amount of time and places they can drop the Predator in to. How about this mf goes to mars and wipes everything out with his arm nuke and that’s why it’s a giant red dirt ball now!
RIPPA Posted April 14, 2025 Author Posted April 14, 2025 I have given up finding a computer that will embed that Another Simple Favor

Just watch the trailer, you will understand why Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Universal might as well say they think their audiences have the brains of hummingbirds. They're partnering with Meta for an app to be used while you watch the movie to create a "second screen experience". Because you know, nothing's better than sitting in a dark theater and see everyone's bright ass screens. https://variety.com/2025/film/news/meta-second-screen-theater-tech-m3gan-rerelease-1236364712/ Alamo Drafthouse has already said they will not, under any circumstances, participate in this.

Travis Sheldon Posted April 15, 2025 Posted April 15, 2025 Wouldn't bother me one bit, I already sit next to my wife's Ark Of The Covenant screen. And yes, the GIF everyone is thinking of is my experience. 3
Curt McGirt Posted April 16, 2025 Posted April 16, 2025 PRIMITIVE WAR (dir. Luke Sparke) The American War (as the Vietnamese refer to it as) encounters... dinosaurs. Yep.
Contentious C Posted April 16, 2025 Posted April 16, 2025 Does the producer not understand that the Viet Cong were not part of the Monsterverse?
RIPPA Posted April 16, 2025 Author Posted April 16, 2025 The Roses Director: Jay Roach Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, Allison Janney, Belinda Bromilow, Sunita Mani, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Zoë Chao and Kate McKinnon. If you couldn't tell, it is a reimagining of the 1989 film (which in turn was based on the novel)
Curt McGirt Posted April 16, 2025 Posted April 16, 2025 (edited) Ahem... The War of the Roses, you mean. Just to clarify because I had to (hadn't watched the trailer) EDIT: I think that'll be a big hit. And as someone who has begun to just laugh when I see Kate McKinnon's face, her line in that was *chef's kiss* Edited April 16, 2025 by Curt McGirt
Johnny Sorrow Posted April 16, 2025 Posted April 16, 2025 I saw War of the Roses in the theater with my college girlfriend, and afterwards we were still laughing in the lobby as so many people were walking by us disgusted by both the movie and that we thought it was funny.
