Curt McGirt Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 https://www.fangoria.com/stephen-king-the-long-walk-movie-release-date/ I just hope they didn't soften this one. The Bachman books are all nasty pieces of work and using half-measures on this would kill it. 2
RIPPA Posted April 3, 2025 Author Posted April 3, 2025 The Long Walk is one of many trailers I am waiting for to hit online over the next 48 hours as a lot of stuff just debuted at CinemaCon and just need to make their way online (Its why I am had the flurry of posts today) 1
J.H. Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 (edited) Ok, that new Naked Gun teaser has me intrigued but if it doesn't open with the Police Squad intro i might just walk out James Edited April 3, 2025 by J.H. 2
Travis Sheldon Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 I was against the idea of the Naked Gun film until seeing Nielsen and Kennedy in the photos from the trailer. So, I'll wait and see.
Brian Fowler Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 (edited) FWIW, The Day the Earth Blew Up has basically flopped at the box office, but the reviews are pretty strong. 88% RT, a solid 69 on Metacritic, good audience scores pretty much everywhere. Edited April 4, 2025 by Brian Fowler 2
hammerva Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Here is the trailer if it hasn't been posted already https://x.com/NakedGunMovie/status/1907841175106801883 At first I was worried that it was going to lose the goofiness of the original but the last 30 seconds kind of changed my mind a little. The OJ joke was tremendous 3
(BP) Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Paul Walter Hauser is Ed Junior? That movie is going to rip. I cannot wait.
Curt McGirt Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 The only part of the Naked Gun trailer I laughed at was the OJ joke. That bodes neutrality at best for me. 1

Craig H Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 I am rock fucking hard. TRON ARES That NIN music gave me goosebumps. 2

Andrew POE! Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 I'm excited for this and probably most of the DVDVR Film Freaks (thanks for the name J.H.) are too. 6
RIPPA Posted April 7, 2025 Author Posted April 7, 2025 I am pretty entertained that I can now recognize Wes Anderson movies by the font they use on the Youtube image 3 4

My exact thoughts this morning, seeing the thumbnail: Well known actor with an inexplicable but HI-LARIOUS bandage? Old-timey sounding and overly precious title? Log Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 My daughter is a huge Michael Cera fan, and a burgeoning Wes Anderson head. My son and I have watched all of the MI movies over the past year. Looks like I may be taking a kid to an actual movie in a theater back-to-back weekends in May. Their mom is in the picture and I am still married to her. She will also be invited to both movies. Just not sure the boy will want to see the Anderson movie (though he liked Rushmore and LOVES Tenenbaums) and neither girl is into the MI movies. 3
Contentious C Posted April 8, 2025 Posted April 8, 2025 Is Sinners just gonna be From Dusk Til Dawn with racism? Because it looks like it's just From Dusk Til Dawn with racism. Definitely a case of giving too much away in the trailers (specifically carving stakes). 1
Curt McGirt Posted April 8, 2025 Posted April 8, 2025 Maybe that wasn't in the trailer I saw because I confused the vampires as being zombies when I saw it in the theater
Andrew POE! Posted April 8, 2025 Posted April 8, 2025 I'm disappointed that I can't find an IMAX 70mm cut in the Atlanta area for Sinners. I purposely avoided the most recent trailer so I'm not sure what's being talked about. But anything Robert Rodriguez-esque has me there.

I literally wrote when I posted the trailer ages ago Quote This is the 2nd trailer - a few things 1) This is horror (and I think the first trailer might have been in that old thread) but this is clearly a bigger movie 2) The Trailer gives away A LOT (including 1, arguably 2, MAJOR heel turns) 3) I am jealous of Josh Allen
