Crafty Odysseus will be played by Tom Holland. Well, nevermind that... That's Matt Damon as Wise Odysseus. Just due to his age, people are guessing Holland will play Telemachus (son of Odysseus)
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 20 Posted February 20 In other words, Martin wants to spend the next 6 months in Hawai'i. 6
Curt McGirt Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I seriously hope they told Marty to put on some sunscreen. That skin is the color of the post backgrounds on here. You should've seen De Niro on Colbert last night. It was a disaster, to the point Steven just laughed and ripped up his cards. Bob played (is?) the doddering old man, only combined with the obstinate 'getting interviewed' Robert De Niro, and said next to nothing. There were awkward silences, long pauses, forgotten memories resulting in aborted questions, it was horr-i-ble.
odessasteps Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Good thing Dwayne has family to help him prepare for the that role. ”bang bang” 1

Scorsese going from shitting on Marvel movies, to working with The Rock, is not something I saw coming. Any word on Kevin Hart’s role in this one? Edited February 21 by Technico Support 2
Log Posted February 21 Posted February 21 There was a time when I would've been intrigued to see what Scorsese could do with The Rock. Now, I think we've got a big enough sample size to see that he's really not that great an actor, and I'm not optimistic about this movie.

I’m willing to wait and see how that MMA movie from one of the Safdie’s turns out. I think he was on his way to being an interesting character actor before he pivoted to kids movies and then action blockbusters. 1

I really wish he wouldn't insist on being a more or less good guy in every role. We know from decades in wrestling that he's at his best (and, ironically, most likable) when he's playing a narcissistic asshole, and I'd love to seem him bring the energy to, if not a villain, at least an antihero role.

Any word on Kevin Hart’s role in this one? Scorsese is going to remake Goodfellas with The Rock as Henry Hill and Kevin Hart as Tommy DeVito. He'll get Jack Black to play James Conway. Karen Gillian will play Karen Hill. That sounds absolutely terrible. It'll probably happen. 2
(BP) Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I hate this. But also, Chris Hemsworth plays Billy Batts. They beat him to death with a big hammer and then bury him under a theme park. 1
Curt McGirt Posted February 24 Posted February 24 THE RULE OF JENNY PEN John Lithgow and Geoffrey Rush I should probably put this under horror but everyone needs to see John Lithgow dancing and talking in a Cockney accent
