This is the poster for Andy Serkis' adaptation of Animal Farm.  Yes, the George Orwell novella.

Serkis will play Benjamin (the donkey - I'm assuming that's him at far left)

Kieran Culkin will play Squealer.

Seth Rogen (??) will play Napoleon (!?)

Premiere is July 11.

I didn't even recognize her as Elle Fanning. You could just read that, but click the link to see the logo on the eyes, it's pretty rad to just throw in there.

BTW the Alien: Earth teaser ran on FXX last night and it's just a wobbly closeup of Earth... until the "camera" backs out to reveal it's just the reflection on a Xenomorph head. I think I have Alien PTSD by now because I did not want to see that out of nowhere in my pitch black room so as soon as I saw the beginning of the teeth an heard that rattle sound I averted my eyes. I am a child haha

Heads of State

Directed by Ilya Naishuller (Nobody, Hardcore Henry)

Idris Elba, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Jack Quinn is in the trailer but I suspect he is not long for that movie)

Yes we have reached the point where John Cena is President of the United States

The Head of State of the UK is the Monarch. The Prime Minister is merely the head of Government.

Should have done your research, movie people.

Hollywood isn't wasting any time anymore in regards to video game adaptations

Sydney Sweeney will star in a film adaptation of Split/Fiction which literally came out 6 weeks ago

It was also just announced that she's going to be in Michael Bay's OutRun, yes they're making a movie based on the 1980's arcade driving game that was nowhere near as fun and Pole Position.

They should make Road Rash instead.

Road Rash is probably what she would have had from running away, if Jerry Bruckheimer's lecherous ass were still producing with Bay. Doesn't look like that's the case, though.

Seeing Nobuhiko Takada and Aleksander Otsuka's name in a movie trailer is a hell of a thing

Seeing PRIDE logo is also a hell of a thing too.

I wonder how many water bottles were abused in the making of this movie?

My understanding is that the movie is dogshit, but damn, they did a good job making the Rock look like Mark Kerr.

Curious where this reaction is coming from? Who has even seen this movie? Or is the reaction to the trailer? I'm pretty confident a new Benny Safdie movie (The Curse, Good Time, Uncut Gems, etc.) will not be dogshit.

Well, it helps that Kerr and Dwayne share a similar facial structure. I think that might be the easiest part to achieve regarding recreating the documentary.

Early screening.

Is this movie only going to show Kerr's ascent and his wins or did Dwayne suspend his "my character can never lose fights" edict?

I believe it goes through his final Pride fight where he knocked himself silly and then got TKO'd. So it goes through his downfall. I don't think it gets into what his post-Pride career was like.

Thanks!  I was only asking half seriously because I can't pass up an opportunity to point out what an insane narcissist Dwayne is.

Personally, I'd rather see a Dan Severn film than Mark Kerr.

But, I see how hard it would be to replicate the 'stache.

They could de-age/de-weight Tom Selleck and it might work.
