Alexander Hammerstone is done with TNA

Sad, but this was one of the more underwhelming runs considering how hyped I was to see him come in. It seems like he was injured way more than he was active. Man, ease up on the steroids if you are constantly tearing one place or another. Well, there will always be those 3 matches with Josh Alexander, you can't take those away, although almost every other promoted matches he was supposed to be in, ended up not happening!

I only post releases because I want to see where they end up later.  No roster is ever going to be the same for years.

Yeah, it's just that Hammerstone hadn't exactly been in TNA for years as of yet. Where do you see him ending up next? I'm actually pretty stumped on that one. I mean both AEW and NXT are possible, I guess, but the run he had in TNA doesn't exactly make him out to be a hot free agent, or anything!

I dunno where he will end up. I think he fits in with WWE more. I don't think Tony like big guys much. NJPW would be ok. I dunno really.

I feel like the biggest takeaway from his TNA run for me was the feeling that most of his personality was heavily tied to how MLW handled him.

If he goes back to Court we can just count him out, he's doomed.

Nobody goes to MLW to become relevant. It's an abyss.

I picked up TNA+ entirely to see the long-delayed Fraxiom/Rascalz match, but have kept watching about half the shows and mostly enjoying it. Was gonna drop after Sacrifice, but the new annual pricing is starting to make it seem appealing to keep

So it's just a matter of time before we get the "Endeavor buys TNA" story, isn't it?

I haven't found anything online if they're selling to WWE. If so they could still do sub brand under of WWE. Like WCW Inc but actually operating and touring promotion instead.

I'm firmly in the "believe it when I see it" camp. Anthem pretty much leveraged everything to buy TNA and worked to turn it into something decent, I'd be shocked if they just sold it off. Also branding wise, I can't see a 3 WWE sub promotion working with NXT and Evolve/WWEID.

Not sure what she wants to do but I think Gail Kim would be a good pickup for AEW to get another person in on creative.

Yeah I don't know Anthem's long term plan here. The Knockouts have been the weak part of the show recently but they have a thin roster. Maybe there was a personality clash.  Maybe they figured she was loyal to D'Amore.  Now you got Dreamer and Delirious running all creative. this will be something

From the TNA I've seen, Dreamer/Delirious/etc. have presented a far better product than the years prior.

It is a far better product but mostly because of the NXT involvement.   Especially the women's division which is basically Masha, Tessa, and whoever they can pull from NXT.

You have to think eventually Tessa is beating Masha for the title.  I mean why bring someone that is absolutely hated and NOT put the title on her.  That will be interesting to see what the NXT involvement will be after that happens.   I mean they can probably bring in people like a Brinley Reece or Carlee Bright who has no history except NXT

The NXT partnership has certainly benefitted the visibility, but the current roster (even with NXT) is not nearly as strong as it was in previous years. The booking and creative improvements I’m most thankful for are the minimizing of bad skits and booking less meaningless multi-ways. Promos over skits is a small but crucial improvement.

Delirious?! That just reminds me of the horror of Delirious ROH. No sir, I don't like it.

Please don't remind me of Delirious ROH with the never-ending Bully Ray/Flip Gordon feud and Matt Taven: World Champion.

I'm not gonna go, but I am amused to find that TNA is running tapings over two nights in St. Joseph, Missouri of all places (I'm about an hour south of St. Joe)

$20 for general admission bleacher seats, $10 if you qualify for whatever the "TNA Military Offer" is

I'd go. $20 for a wrestling show? How can you go wrong?
