Honestly I wish I could be happier just punching a clock

Going to work every day was what needed to be done in order to get to the point where I would never work another day in my life. Long term goal achieved earlier than most people. Drink beer and watch wrestling every day with no stress.

I so don't remember FTR & Garcia vs HOB at all lol.

I think it was from Collision over this past summer. It was "escape the cage" rules, so that ol' Malachi didn't have to eat a pinfall.

catching up after a much needed staycation the last few days. Man, i had like 5 pages to read in this thread alone. Y'all talk alot!

If Mountain Dew counts, i'm your huckleberry. i have tried over 75 flavors of it, and that doesn't even include the Hard Dew!

Cherry RC is the ambrosia of the gods. I lament the fact that i largely only drink Zero Sugar soda these days, so don't get to enjoy this exquisite treat often enough.

that alone gets my vote. but i'm not contributing money. sorry not sorry.

Cherry RC is pretty close to Cheerwine in my official Cherry Cola rankings. Spoiler: They're the top 2.

see I don't think I'm ever going to get there

I don't think I could handle retirement without some sort of job to go to. If I'm being honest, right now I'm working to save money and eventually open my own diner or food truck. If I'm lucky enough to do that and make it last, I will gladly do it until I die. It helps that there's no real path to true retirement for me because of choices I've made but even still, I know I'm not someone who could handle that. I'd end up like Brooks from Shawshank within months.

Aew needs somebody double checking their rundowns. Awkward Julia Hart match then vignette on Wednesday. Then that great Callis family segment just before we see Don and Takeshita in the arena. Very awkward and totally avoidable.

Did do a double take when I saw this poster on my commute in to work this morning. Didn't get a pic but someone did and posted on Reddit

In a somewhat ironic twist - Collision is airing on USA Network: Canada now.

USAN is the rebranded Discovery Channel.

Dear Coach, could we please consider doing a few dozen less weekly ref distraction spots please? Too often they simply aren’t effective. They’re just a hindrance to enjoying the matches.

For me, the issue with the ref spots is that they're not planned out great, that might be based on the camera or something, but they make the ref look really really dumb even taking into account that refs have to look silly for it to work.

I think the key problem with their approach to ref bumps is having the heel(s) actively inside the ring doing complicated stuff while the ref's back is turned. They could avoid a lot of that by just having the babyface get clocked from the outside (I'm picturing Savage blasting Warrior with the scepter at Rumble 91). You have to give the ref a fighting chance at maintaining plausible deniability.
