My hopes for this: 1) It's just some bullshit with zero basis in fact. 2) It's true, but less comes out of it than the also-true Shane/Khan "discussion." 3) It happens but it's an absolute miserable catastrophic failure along the lines of CYN. Goes without saying but I automatically despise anyone who would choose to work for or work with Vince at this point. I suppose there's a possibility that MAGA choads would choose to support Vince BECAUSE he's been "cancelled." If this is true, and happens, and succeeds at any level it would utterly break my heart. Via 83 Weeks eh? So, Eric Bischoff said it? :Andrade OK, How you Know? gif:

Yeah, I joked in another thread that we're lucky none of the "cancelled" wrestlers like Joey Ryan meet Vince's size requirements (though David Starr is apparently now a bodybuilder). The last thing we need is Vince McMaohn's Anti-Woke Wrestling Federation, coming soon to Fox Nation. Edited February 26 by Technico Support 1

Cobra Commander Posted February 26 Posted February 26 what's a good backronym for a VINCE company name. Victorious Incredible National Champion Entertainment? Also, would it be bad ethics for a wrestler to use the existence of a Vince company as a way to get more money from the WWE? or is it only bad ethics if the WWE tells the wrestler to pound sand they send up working for Vince's Inoki Genome Federation promotion?

Cobra Commander Posted February 26 Posted February 26 well, Vince Russo already did Sports Entertainment Xtreme..
zendragon Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I can't believe that Vince likes wrestling enough anymore to start a second enterprise 1

BobbyWhioux Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) Anti Woke Sports Entertainment Organization Metrics and Enterprises erroneously abbreviated as AWESOME I dunno, Vince's second crack at the XFL never actually got any further than writing "everyone must stand for the anthem" into the rulebook and some concept art helmets, it was only after he sold it off that they eventually started playing games again. I'll not be holding my breath on this one. EDIT: no, my bad, there were actual replica jerseys you could get ripped off on purchase. can't believe I forgot about that grift. EDIT: no, my bad, there were actual replica jerseys you could get ripped off on purchase. can't believe I forgot about that grift. i was a fan of the 2001 XFL (go Maniax!) and would proudly display a football if i had one. i do have a full DVD set of the season (bootleg of course, saved from somebody's TiVo recordings). The 2020 reboot played a few games before the pandemic shut it down, and it was sold later that year. so the 2023 re-reboot played a full season i believe, before it was merged into the United Football League(?) i think anyway. i can't keep track anymore.
Doragon Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Really there was 3 XFL's, Rock sold his and the merged UFL formed.
Technico Support Posted February 27 Posted February 27 24 minutes ago, DragonZombie said: Really there was 3 XFL's, Rock sold his and the merged UFL formed. That's too bad. We need a football league where Rock, desperate for validation, shows up and cuts nonsensical, coked-up promos at halftime, and then at the press conference, says "the great thing about football is that we can have storylines that don't have to end in a football game." 1 7
Doragon Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I don't have a problem with The Rock. What's left of Rock's XFL is the XFL Conference and some other stuff. The XFL Properties LLC owns 50 percent of the new UFL. FOX owns the other half of the league. The XFL half is shared by The Rock, his ex wife Dany Garcia, and RedBird Capital Partners. So Dwayne is one of the minority co-owners on the XFL side.
The Green Meanie Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Which is a shame, because I actually preferred the USFL 2.0 over XFL 2.0. 1

Peck Posted May 28 Posted May 28 (edited) John Laurinaitis turned (babyface?) on Vince. Quote “John Laurinaitis has agreed to cooperate and provide evidence in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. His agreement to a confidential settlement is a pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable and bringing justice to Ms. Grant after years of sexual abuse and trafficking. Mr. Laurinaitis looks forward to moving on with his life. We cannot provide any additional details at this time.” https://www.f4wonline.com/news/wwe/grant-dismisses-laurinaitis-claims/ Edited May 28 by Peck
Technico Support Posted May 28 Posted May 28 (edited) Is this Johnny Ace's second turn in the case? I believe he first claimed he was just as much a victim as Grant was, but then later he joined McMahon's side of the case. Now this. One more turn and he's entering Big Show or Paul Orndorff territory. Edited May 28 by Technico Support 1 4

You can't expect to do gangsta shit with non-gangstas, and expect them to behave like gangstas when the heat is on. 2
