EVA Posted October 26 Posted October 26 (edited) Forgot to add Army and Navy to that list, too. Finding out about Navy as we speak. Edited October 26 by EVA
hammerva Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Notre Dame beating on Navy in this game like they hate the military. Oh well there is still hope for a meaningful Army vs Navy game but it just got a lot harder
EVA Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Indiana has played a soft schedule, but they just keep winning these games *definitively* (by multiple TDs), the way you would expect a genuinely great team to. Handling Washington today with the backup QB, too. 1
Brian Fowler Posted October 26 Posted October 26 And apparently the Michigan wheel of inadequate quarterbacks has spun back around to Davis Warren. Yay?

Brian Fowler Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Vandy still hanging in there against Texas going into the fourth.

Brian Fowler Posted October 27 Posted October 27 (edited) Well, I know Michigan State isn't exactly the greatest competition, but I think maybe that's what Michigan's offense was supposed to look like this year. I mean, they still didn't play great and the running backs didn't get on track much, but the two quarterback stuff and working it to Loveland and not turning it over, all of that feels like this is the basic shape of what Moore and Campbell envisioned back in August. Still, less than 300 yards is pretty terrible. As Jake Butt pointed out multiple times, there were many times when Davis Warren simply just didn't make throws. And the run game when it was just regular running plays was godawful. But it was better. First time hearing Butt call a game. He was solid.
Tabe Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Today was my first time hearing Jordan Rodgers call a game. Thought he was very good. He sounds absolutely identical to Greg McElroy.

Like, it's clear what they were trying to do for once.

To this note, Indiana is the first team since Kansas State all the way back in 1998 to get through their first 8 games without ever trailing at any point all year. 1

Unfortunately when your team is as extremely mid/not good as Arizona and West Virginia you are stuck with the C team of announcers 1
EVA Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Don’t look now but Colorado is bowl eligible, and while they don’t control their own destiny, they’re still very much in the Big 12 title game hunt.
