What is worse is the crowd reaction.   Either the Giants fans have given most of their tickets to Eagles fan or Giants fans were giving him a "good for him" reaction

While I have no sympathy for the Browns on Deshaun, it is good to see Nick Chubb get a TD in his first game back.

Meanwhile Mason Rudolph is beating the Bills so far.  Wish he would have done this in the wild card last year but oh well

Titans made a poor decision/play call going for it on 4th and 2 while ahead in their own territory, been all Bills since then. I'm all for teams taking risks but you still have to look at the whole situation, not be reckless with it. Still a lot of game left but momentum definitely shifted at that point.

Saquon Barkley did his best today to get everyone on the Giants coaching staff and front office fired

What the fuck are these run off or no run off rules?

They explained it on the broadcast, basically, if people are moving at snap: Illegal shift, 10 second run off.

All players set, but not in a legal formation, play proceeds, with flag thrown, no run off.

They're saying the penalty was called with a stopped clock because of the incomplete pass.

We'll ignore that the ball was snapped at :01 so no way it could have been spiked with :01 left.

Big credit for bringing the heat on the Hail Mary. Finally someone did it!

pulled out of the same asshole as every other rule.

It'd be nice if the refs would just admit "upon further review, our advertisers and broadcast partners want a dramatic last play of the game, so there's going to be one."

I cant remember which team did it but I have in my memory that once a team just had their offensive line randomly "set" in wrong places at the snap, but because they were set in the wrong formation it wasn't a run off. Honestly I don't know why teams don't plan for that, don't worry about being in the right spot, just be set.... somewhere.

Yeah, the explanation is what prompted my question. What the fuck

or why the league doesn't just close that loophole/not have that exception to this well known rule.  Either have runoffs or not.

I feel like once Amari Cooper knows the playbook, its going to be a huge help to the Bills offense. Even today when he wasn't in for every play it opened up Keon Coleman, who had his first 100 yard catching day, and Shakir had seven catches. Cooper isn't elite but he's a true WR1 which was a need, I think it will help the offense notably once he's up to speed.
