Kuetsar Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Fuck. I was hoping the Steelers would nab Sammy Watkins at #15. After this performance tonight, he's barely getting out of the top ten (if at all). Guy is just unreal. Yeah he's not getting past the Bills. . . .
Gonzo Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 The whiteboard in the Sun Life Stadium locker room that Ohio State used for the Orange Bowl. Is it too much to hope that someone superkicked Urban Meyer through it? 1
EVA Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 My sources tell me he tried to dive through it to escape. 1
Justin877 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Meanwhile, Charlie Strong is headed to Tejas and Cutcliffe will likely succeed him.... That surprised me the most, I figured Art Briles (beloved Texan ) was a lock for the job
Josh Mann Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Meanwhile, Charlie Strong is headed to Tejas and Cutcliffe will likely succeed him....That surprised me the most, I figured Art Briles (beloved Texan ) was a lock for the jobFlorida is going to wish they kicked Muschamp to the curb a month ago. They committed the fatal error of underestimating the other guy's greed.
Justin877 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I was in Gainesville , 2 weeks ago visiting the GF's family. People seem to think that Muschamp will stick around another season
EVA Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I have to work up until game time tonight, so let the record show, I've got Auburn. Like, 41-38 or something.
Ryan Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'm fine with a guy like Lou Holtz with his speech issues having his job, he's got the credentials and such even if he's hard to understand at times, but that's not that important(Shannon Sharpe and Michael Strahan have those issues as well, but who cares as well), but how does he have such a job while seeming to have no clue what he's talking about every time I listen to him?
Ryan Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 68-62 FSU in 7 OTs. Jameis Winston tears both ACLs on the final play.
Tabe Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'm fine with a guy like Lou Holtz with his speech issues having his job, he's got the credentials and such even if he's hard to understand at times, but that's not that important(Shannon Sharpe and Michael Strahan have those issues as well, but who cares as well), but how does he have such a job while seeming to have no clue what he's talking about every time I listen to him? Well, his speech issues are a lot worse than Shannon & Strahan, for one. As for your other point, you're spot-on. Lou is just completely lost as an analyst or bringer-of-insight. He's wrong a lot and just brings nothing to the table, knowledge-wise.
Ryan Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'm sure he's fine as a motivational speaker or whatever it is he does on the side.
Brian Fowler Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 It's weird to say this about an SEC team, but I don't think Auburn has seen anything like this FSU defense all year.
muhammedboehm Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Why do they keep calling Winston a true freshman when he's a redshirt?
Brian Fowler Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 It's weird to say this about an SEC team, but I don't think Auburn has seen anything like this FSU defense all year. Then again....
Kuetsar Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Why do they keep calling Winston a true freshman when he's a redshirt? Because Brent Musburger? I like him, but accuracy is not always his strong suit. . .
Josh Mann Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 In the first quarter, Auburn did to Winston what Winston allegedly [redacted]
EVA Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 FSU has been slow out of the blocks in their last 3 games now.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Is this another case of SEC SPEED~! Stay tuned...
Brian Fowler Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 When it's clicking, Malzhan's offense is a thing of beauty.
Kuetsar Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 In the first quarter, Auburn did to Winston what Winston allegedly [redacted] But he's ready to be starter in the NFL now. . . .
rzombie1988 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 You can just see in Winston's eyes that he knows they've lost.
Josh Mann Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Winston is kind of like Pedro Cerrano: Deep ball he hit very much. Touch pass, receivers are afraid.
