I concur.  Make the trios belts the modern equivalent of WCW's lucha matches -- throwaway lower card matches where at least you know you'll get some wild, cool action.  On Rampage, a long time ago, Top FlIght & Andretti had an insane match with three luchadores, maybe Vikingo, Kommander, and somebody, not sure.  DO.  THAT.  SHIT.  WEEKLY.  FOR. THE. BELTS.

I would hate that! I don't think that they shouldn't do it though; it just wouldn't be for me. I think Nitro did more damage to lucha libre than good in a very big way.

Her fiancee is a horrible person, including being a transphobic bigot.

I read your keywords, but am still looking for a modicum of information.

I don’t just want them to get rid of the trios titles, I want them to cut back on the trios matches period. More traditional tag teams.

You know, you could just look it up yourself instead of asking other people to put the energy in.

I support the motion.

Fair advice, but I searched before asking, and found nothing. Maybe it's an edictment on my google search abilities. I'm not a twitter/ig/etc user I suspect perhaps the social media details add up to this damning judgement of Saraya. As for the ask of 'Energy': if I was suggesting somebody was a horrible person etc. I'd be prepared to back it up. None of this to suggest our pro wrestling star isn't deserved of this declaration.

Saraya's partner is Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse. You only need to go as far as Wikipedia to see the type of guy he is.

He certainly seems like a suspicious character and highly unlikeable, but I'm not sure this WIkipedia homework convinces me Saraya's a 'horrible person'. I certainly understand the questions it raises. On the otherhand, I've known many ppl with partners I didn't care for. I'm not sure it's such a good thing to declare somebody 'horrible' because of it.

he could just lay great pipe or get good drugs.  who are we to judge?

edit* and reading his 'controversies' section it's all stuff that happened a long time ago before he started dating her, and the DA is the only one that looks concrete.  Rape accusation is he said/she said, police found no evidence and he sued for defamation.  He was involved in a fight where someone in his crew shot someone, and he threw a mic into a crowd and someone got hurt?  Not great but not cancel worthy.  Maybe he was a shitty person when he was younger and improved himself?  He's from a hardcore scene and was probably fucked up on drugs/alcohol.  She's got a sketchy track record herself....I believe people can change and grow or at least be better versions of themselves.

I've never even heard of this guy before and don't like the music scene he's from, I've never been the biggest Saraya fan though I enjoy her in AEW, but it's getting ridiculous the way certain people here feel the need to bring up Saraya's personal life every time she's being discussed. Then I'm reading it and it's like....ok.....I can see why nobody but a couple people on the internet are making a big deal about it

Get off your moral high horses.  That's the last I'm ever engaging on this topic.  Have a nice day.

The thing about wrestling is, for a long time wrestlers would get injured and rush back before they were ready, because of the feeling that promoters wouldn't be holding your spot open for you (and they were paid based on card position, so getting put back in the opening match was an actual financial demotion). For whatever reason, some wrestlers under AEW contract are choosing not to do that, and actually stay out of action until they're 100% ready.

Now you could argue that this is because the company is a soft touch and the boys are using it as a holiday on full pay, or you could argue that showing a(n unprecedented in the industry) level of compassion for your workers is actually a good thing.

Can anyone think of a wrestling promoter in history who would keep female Wrestlers under contract during pregnancy and maternity? Like most female wrestlers (who could get pregnant; obviously not every woman can) wouldn't even dare ask if that was a possibility, right?

I get that you're being diplomatic, but it seems wrong to present those two positions as reasonable alternative. I can't see anybody but an asshole making the first argument. Wrestling is dangerous! Of course wrestlers should be allowed to completely heal before getting back in the ring!

It's guilt via marriage- if you married/engaged to the guy, you kinda accept who they are.

Deeb gets this as well due to being married to Marty Scurll.   I think in a way, Saraya gets it worse due to the fact she was with ADR, so she has a pattern of hooking up with terrible people.  Deeb I think gets more of a pass since the allegations were after Marty's stuff became known.

I won't comment on whether it's fair to have a lower opinion of Saraya for this or not- it's an individual judgement.  I know my  fiancee is very entertained by the Saraya/Harley duo, and loves AEW for its sapphic energy.   I'm going to just say Saraya has god-awful taste in partners, and if she actually did something bigoted, I'd be less likely to give her any benefit of the doubt.  That said, AFAIK she hasn't, and she's been very good in AEW.

Keeping a grudge list of allegations against everyone is a lot of emotional labor, and well, there are bigger threats to me than pro wrestlers (well maybe not Hangman, he's gone all in on Nostraman justice lately ^_^)

I'm mainly posting this since you weren't aware and you can take it how you will. I know many don't see the post PPV conferences but she said this.

I'll admit to saying a thing or two about Saraya recently. But if I can help it this is the last I talk about her. If people like her then cool but she is just not worth my time.

At both Cardiff and Wembley, when Saraya came out, a lot of people held up Trans flags. Most of them didn't make air on camera (a couple did), but there were a lot more than you saw.

I'm in India for 3 weeks and decided to get AEW Plus. Only $13 and I get to buy Wrestledream for $24. Alot better than to $50 I pay in Toronto lol

I saw a headline that said Luchasaurus was hospitalized.  My first thought was, "did a meteor hit his house?"  I'm going to hell, friends.

For disrespecting Luchasaurus? Probably, yeah.:)

According to what I saw on Reddit, he almost died of pneumonia. But I can't confirm whether that story started with anybody credible.
