It’s going to fascinating to see what combination of poor player management and bad luck mucks this up.  I mean, Skenes looks like he could live up to the hype, but he’s probably going to be a Pirate for at least four years, so I fully expect that either the Pirates will overwork him and he’ll be needing Tommy John surgery before he’s 25, or he’ll have to retire after a freak accident where a piano falls out of the sky and lands on him while he’s walking down the street, Roadrunner- Wile E style.
