If you don't understand why that's an issue, just Google "Kent State National Guard". ..... Wow 1
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) Whew, buddy, this noon kickoff window is rough. Once TCU is up by about 20 on Colorado in the 1st quarter, there isn’t going to be much competitive to watch until Boise/Washington. You definitely don’t want to see your favorite P5 team become the main character of score updates this morning. Or afternoon, or whatever the fuck time of day it is where you are. EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Feeling conflicted about getting excited about watching Joe Milton chuck bombs in a minute vs. feeling guilty that he’s gonna be doing it to Virginia, who really deserve to have a nice Saturday.
hammerva Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) well that is a hell of a start for Prime and Colorado Edited September 2, 2023 by hammerva
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 COLORADO IS GOING TO WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Michigan players acting like Harbaugh is a political prisoner because of a suspension that was *self-imposed* by the university is either a worrying sign of an increasingly adversarial relationship between Harbaugh and the university or the greatest bit of totally fabricated motivation since Kirby Smart convinced Georgia players that nobody believed in them last year. 1
hammerva Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Proof #850 that you are getting old: Jay Feely's son is kicking in college football
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 As someone who followed Travis Hunter closely last year, I am shocked Jackson State wasn't beating folks in the SWAC by 85 points.
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Not sure why it took TCU an entire half to realize they should try running the ball on an undersized and undermanned Colorado DL.
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 FOX and Colorado getting everything they could’ve wanted out of this game.
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 TCU can’t defend the pass, Colorado can’t defend the run. Who gets the ball last.

Milton is one of the players I'm most interested in this year. So much physical ability, and if he finally puts it together and plays up to that potential, Tennessee might be better than they were last year and even have a shot at taking the division from Georgia. Virginia was never likely to be much of a test though. ----- Silly T-shirts aside, it's hard to take much away from beating ECU, but JJ looking razor sharp is a nice sign. If he elevates himself into serious Heisman contender status, Michigan might actually have a shot at living up to the hype 1
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Regression was definitely expected from TCU this year, but this is outrageously bad defense. No coverage. No tackling. I mean, what even was the effort on that last TD.

hammerva Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Even if Colorado's is only half as good as today, Matt Ruhle should get on his knees and pray that Carolina takes him back before next weeks game. 1 1

I wasn't that impressed by Shedeur last year, but he wasn't putting up numbers like this in the SWAC. I dunno what the fuck happened between now and then.
Mister TV Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Can someone tells Gus Johnson that this isn’t the Miracle on Ice. 1
The Comedian Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Nice of Colorado's run defense to show up for the final drive of the game... TCU's QB is also horrible... I am already sick of hearing the words "Coach Prime" one game into the season...
EVA Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) This reminded me Mike Leach’s first game at Mississippi State when they threw for like 600 yards on LSU. A new offense just annihilating a totally clueless defense. The Bulldogs ended up going 4-7 that year. Edited September 2, 2023 by EVA
