Also, Anthony Volpe is switching from #77 to #11.  And in one of those "the rookie must introduce and shake hands with everyone in the locker room" bits, Volpe actually called the previous #11, Brett Gardner if it was okay. 

I think the most stunning fact in this story is that Gardner was on the Yankees for 14 years(!).

I'm never the type of person who roots for anyone with "authority," except when some asshole jumps a guardrail at a sporting event. Is there a colored line for stadium security,  that I can replace a stripe on the American flag with? I'd put that shit in my car today.

I just saw the video. I have a rule,  if you call another man a bitch,  he gets to call your bluff. I don't think he actually tried to hit the fan,  but I also don't believe that fan will ever call him a bitch again. No harm,  no foul.
