Craig H Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 I don't have a problem with the rest of that cast, but seeing it and hearing it, Chalamet doesn't seem like the right casting at all for this. I do think he's a fine actor, but there's something about his delivery that doesn't sound natural or good. It sounds very forced. It also feels way too much like the shitty Fantastic Beasts movies just going off of the trailer. Anyway though, this movie isn't even for me and I doubt I even watch it unless it's so good it gets nominated for best picture.

It's like they just got a full snapshot of the actual Skynet war beyond just the HKs slaughtering people and the humans living underground. EDIT: Full disclosure I have seen veeery few Terminator movies actually -- probably none beyond 2 -- but I am aware they've used CGI as well. Just not that they've been any good...
