Yes but Gina Gershon is Moxxi

Are they seriously going to try to go from the revolution(or reign of terror at least) to Russia?  Because that's A LOT.  Let alone if they try to cover the abdication and Waterloo. . . .Napoleon would be best served by a limited series, or one specific time frame, like Lincoln.

You gotta remember that Ridley did The Duellists, 1492: Conquest of Paradise, etc... this is familiar territory and if he can't juggle it nobody can. Or it'll just be a fabulous wreck of a film.

And did anyone know there is a GLADIATOR 2 coming out with DENZEL?! Good lord.

There are a lot of talented British comedians in that cast (and one American). I wanted to hate it too, but there's too much talent for it to be terrible.

I don't have a problem with the rest of that cast, but seeing it and hearing it, Chalamet doesn't seem like the right casting at all for this. I do think he's a fine actor, but there's something about his delivery that doesn't sound natural or good. It sounds very forced.

It also feels way too much like the shitty Fantastic Beasts movies just going off of the trailer. Anyway though, this movie isn't even for me and I doubt I even watch it unless it's so good it gets nominated for best picture.

Okay, watched the trailer. It'll be perfectly fine and probably awesome for someone with tastes totally opposite to mine.

There were some things that I was like... That seems fine.

But then Timoteo over there opens his mouth and.... nah.  His Wonka voice sounds like a one-off Bugs Bunny villain.

Phew. That may be as good as a Terminator movie, only with CGI. It's like they just got a full snapshot of the actual Skynet war beyond just the HKs slaughtering people and the humans living underground.

EDIT: Full disclosure I have seen veeery few Terminator movies actually -- probably none beyond 2 -- but I am aware they've used CGI as well. Just not that they've been any good...

It now has a release date - August 9, 2024

Looking at Barbie opening screenings today at the cinema I go to, three are sold out and four the last few. Doesn't normally happen that. No sell outs for Oppenheimer or last few either.
