WBD could release numbers tomorrow and people would just say "bah streamers are always cooking the books! I don't believe this!" Maybe any type of viewership talking points should cease to exist? But they won't.. To paraphrase an adage about conspiracy belief: if you didn’t get into your beliefs because of facts, no amount of facts is going to get you out of it.
April 5, 20251 yr AEW being between 850k and 1.1 mil per week would be serious improvement. Ticket sales appear to be up. The product is measurably better. I think TK has really done well to alter his approach to WWE over the last 9 months or so. He’s focused on making his product the best possible and stopped letting his jimmy get rustled by WWE. I wonder if that’s why the Fed has gotten so aggressive: they aren’t getting a response anymore.
April 5, 20251 yr Well WWE at that time could point to ticket sales of their own and storytelling like The Bloodline. Ticket sales are still strong (though have calmed down a bit in some areas) but the booking has fallen off a cliff over the past year. We may have seen WWE's ceiling at this point.

They’re gonna keep making $ because their marketing & PR is next level, but they’ve pissed off a LOT of long time fans with the increase in ticket prices.
