POLL 10/22-10/28/2022- WHAT WAS THE BEST FREE TV MATCH OF THE WEEK? It's WILD!

What a wild week!  No real crusher this week.  Ren Narita versus Ishii and American Dragon versus Sammy Guevara were mirror matches!  THEN!  Zack Sabre Jr and David Finlay came out THIS MORNING.  Earlier in the week, GIANT wads of great lucha showed up- especially the Triplemania stuff that AAA released this week- though I would put the Garra Mortal/ Aster Boy match up against Rey Fenix/ Vikingo any day of the week  Both had spectacular spots but the IWRG match is so much grimier and more violent than the AAA match.  And Villano 4 unmasking had me fighting back love's easy tears.  WWE had a couple of good matches and Dragunov vs McDonagh totally fucking rocked.  And you also have FTR and SIOG ruling the fucking world.  I'm leaning between Dragon/ Sammy and Sabre/Finlay but I need to watch Sabre/Finlay again. 

There was also a lot of crappy matches so this week the cut list isn't that extensive.

Did you ever catch this week's CMLL? Thought it had some nice matches.

Right now I'm leaning toward Narita/Ishii. That was my first time catching Narita, and he really is the second coming of Shibata though he doesn't quite have the same sense of dangerous....yet. It was easily up there with Bayley/Bianca, JD/Ilja, and FTR vs. SIOG for me.

Still need to catch AAA and IWGR.

I somehow missed the CMLL.  I'll add it to next week.  I was torn between Sabre/Finlay and Narita/Ishii and re-watched them back to back.  Finlay/Sabre seemed like cool budding rivalry with a cool style clash of Sabre's technical brilliance and Finlay channelling his dad and beating the crap out of Sabre.  I went with that but it was fucking close.

Another week, another coin flip! In my heart I wanted Hayter/Riho, but the coin and my brain chose FTR/StrickLee.

Voted for Penta vs Villano IV. Lucha bloodbaths are entirely my jam. Emotional matches with huge stakes are also my jam.

I went for Danielson Vs Guavara in the end. 

Sweve & Lee Vs FTR looks like the clear winner so far by the looks of it.

Oh, it's early yet.  Danielson/Guevara is the best AEW match from last week.

I was cooking during Sammy/Danielson so it's PENTA! PENTA! PENTA! taking masks and bumping himself through furniture. FTR/StrickLee and ZSJ/Finlay were right there, though.

Stuck with Ren/Ishii in the end. Dug Fenix/Vikingo more than expected, but not as much as as a few other matches from last week. Penta/Villano was a solid enough brawl, but it was definitely a match where you can tell Penta was doing the brunt of the work.

Villano IV vs Penta is taking second place!  That was more emotional than workrate-y, which is what you want when a legend unmasks.

IMPACT! IS ON THE BOARD!  I would have voted for the Cardona/Shelley match if I were leaning IMPACT!  this week.  That match was waaaaay fun.
