Execproducer
When Diaz puts the final nail in the coffin of Tony's career and gets handed the live mic*, it's going to be the capper to a helluva week. * OK, technically Joe is going to be holding it for him. Jiji
I'm afraid Chimaev will control Holland for 25 minutes. Here's to a wild brawl instead.
The Natural
Wondered why this was two pages already, now I know. Bad weight miss by Khamzat Chimaev.

jaedmc
Listening to Khamzat talk with Megan Olivi, he says a couple interesting things. 1. He says this fight was supposed to be in October, and that he had been focused on lifting weights and gaining muscle. Inferring that he didn't have time to lean out. 2. After beating Kevin Holland he says he's looking for the winner for Periera/Adesanya. This one is extra weird because neither he or Kevin Holland are even in line at Middleweight, and he's already in line for the winner of Leon/Usman 3. He also said that he was told to stop cutting weight at 4 am. So I don't know what this.
The Natural
If Tony Ferguson loses, that's five in a row. Ferguson took a life changing beating from Justin Gaethje which was hard to watch, somehow didn't submit from that armbar by Charles Oliveira and was KTFO last time by Michael Chandler in one of the best KOs in MMA history. Any other year, that would win by far Knockout of the Year. Might still be to some but it has to be Leon Edward's headkick in the last minute of the fight he was losing to the P4P #1 and UFC Welterweight Champion who was about to tie Anderson Silva for most consecutive UFC wins with 16. Elsalvajeloco
I wonder if they have any contingency plans on how they will handle the post fight presser.
Execproducer
Hopefully we'll all be disappointed by the ordinariness of the post fight activities, though I'd recommend confiscating whatever insane amount of water bottles the Diaz camp arms itself with.

Jiji
Holland even wearing the Burberry shirt and hat in a clear nod to MJF. Don't work yourself into a shoot, brother. In truth, that's a whole lotta nothing. Edited September 10, 2022 by Jiji
Elsalvajeloco
We're a long way from the days of Marco Antonio Barrera punching Erik Morales and Riddick Bowe landing an entire combo against Larry Donald.
Jiji
My favourite is Holmes hitting Berbick with the Rough Ryder from on top one car onto a hood of another car. Not even Takada got that kind of work in on Berbick. Seriously, wrestling can't even come close to touching the Holmes/Berbick drama. 1

DreamBroken
Awesome fight! Aldana's landing with the near armbar in the first was epic then Macy comes back to dominate the 2nd. Wild finish in the 3rd, Irene delivers the goods.
The Natural
Think that's the third upkick KO in UFC history, first time anywhereto the liver. What a unique KO.
