  1. Fun show all the way through. Great opening promo from Hangman. Venue looks great too, the home for the next few weeks of events. all the Bucks stuff was hilarious. can no longer perform the "EVP Trigger"! Toni vs Athena definitely should be another epic. Thekla/Aminata continue their great exchanges. I dig Okada getting some Japan mainstream theme music. Definitely down with Okada/Swerve. Badass promo from Mark Briscoe and a solid trios main event to end the first night of the new Hangman Era.
  2. Just added to Dynamite: Queen Aminata vs. Thekla vs Willow vs. Statlander in a "$100k 4 way fight"
  3. I was assuming the trios could be continuing a road to Blood and Guts, if they are doing that this year. Not much of an answer but Tony was asked if the Casino was cash in anywhere style or not at the media scrum. He said he will be giving more clarity to it on TV and acknowledged that it was treated differently at different times. Tony said he would check with the winners, the champions, and put some thought in to when to make those announcements but he thinks MJF and Athena "earned some say as to when they cash those in."
  4. She beat Skye Blue on Collision last month. Other than those two, she had a handful of Rampage wins over Leila Grey, Harley Cameron, another with Skye last year, Anna Jay, and a couple squashes.
  5. Solid opener from Holidead/Santana. Nice debut for Nikki Nashville, looked good. Top Tier victorious again in a non title trios tag. Paola/Aussie sounded good but Paola gets replaced by Genesis. Always glad to see her but we'd all know how that one would end up.
  6. Still coming down from the greatness of all this. Loving all the reactions/thoughts here. Forgot to mention the preshow in my post, but everything Big Boom AJ related is always excellent. The crowd reaction when Trent shoved BIG Justice and later pop for his spear was massive. Mercedes' epic entrance cape having the names of all the opponents she's beaten over the last 2 years was incredible. Seen a few mentions of music feud videos and would definitely love to see AEW do a big one recapping all the events that took place here
  7. 2K just announced El Grande Americano is the DLC replacement for the celebrity guest from pack 1 and will be added in September.
  8. All time great feeling show, loved it. Lived up to all expectations and delivered. I think my only disappointment was hoping for more surprises (jeff jarrett) in the Casino. Juice was cool and I liked seeing the Gunns finally pop back up with him. I was a little surprised there had been zero Jericho involvement for a show of this level, even if just a Fozzy show during the week of or something. I thought he was a more likely return here than Cope, thinking tonight would've planted the seeds for Cope returning later but it was cool to do it now. Always wondered how they'd go about reuniting Cope and Christian after everything, but this was a good start. Love the Dustin win. It felt so out of nowhere but I wanna see as many TV defenses as we can get. ROH Tag, ROH Trios, and now TNT champ. Thought for sure Fletcher was winning and then on the finish, I thought Garcia had gotten the pin until the music hit. Great Texas moment Loved Swerve/Ospreay vs Bucks, one of my most anticipated matches. HUGE pop for "Ain't Nobody" getting used for Swerve, always hoped he would use that before his current theme really took off, so that was awesome. I would've probably put money on the Bucks, so I was shocked by the outcome but love it as Ospreay's one of my favs and a fan of Swerve as well. the unpredictability of the event was excellent in that even the more predictable ones still had lots of doubt. thought Toni/Mercedes was legit damn near perfection. The finish was almost exactly was I envisioned it going. Incredible blowoff to an epic feud. Definitely one of my very top favorite matches of the year. Okada/Omega was fun, did feel like somewhat greatest hits version of things. I liked Tony pointing out on the scrum that if it was Continental rules, Callis would be FIRED, so they'll now go back to no more interfering. I was surprised as I thought Omega would be the one guy that could beat Okada after this long 400+ day reign. Incredibly epic main event, great back and forth, wonderful storytelling and the perfect finale. Even still, I was biting on Hangman might lose when the nail bed came in to play and the Bucks coming out after everyone else. Moxley definitely had a hell of a performance as the villain, I could still almost feel sympathy for him seeing him get hung covered in blood. Amazing visual. Agreed with most all of this! I couldn't tell for sure whether Skye was in the match or not, the way she ran out alongside Julia and was later doing spots with Mina and Statlander while the others went on chase to the back. Syuri was a cool surprise while I was still bummed Deonna got left out entirely. Great night of wrestling.
  9. Real fun show as usual from the ROH PPVs. Hechicero/Oku made a great opener for the main card, dug the finishing stretch. Nice to see AR Fox get a surprise victory. Pure/Tag/TV titles all deliver the good as expected, loved the interim women's TV 4 way with a great group of talents there. Athena/Thunder ruled, wasn't for sure which way it would go but wasn't expecting the submission win. Figured the main event would be an epic and it absolutely was, awesome finish.
  10. Pretty good episode. Masha/Lee vs. Fatal Influence was a highlight. Was not expecting an Enzo Amore vignette leading up to Slammiversary being in NY. Indi/Crawford was quick, looking forward t Indi vs. Tessa. solid main event and Slammiversary build to finish.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxDrAQwKYGQ The night before the Supercard. Atlantis/Atlantis Jr. vs SAP is a fun 5 minute opener. Adam Priest gets a win! Dark Order squash the Frat House's pledges in under a minute to set up Dark Order vs Frat House at Supercard. Deonna vs Rachael Ellering in Pure Rules was solid. Deonna will always be one of my top favorites so I'm always down for more of her matches. Dustin, Sammy, & The Von Erichs take out Premier Athletes & GYV in the main event. Amusing how Mark Sterling comes out talking down to Seattle where this taped while the commentary have to play it off like they are in Texas. Final card for Supercard as of now, until they add the Zero Hour matches later: ROH WORLDS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Bandido(c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita ROH WOMENS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Athena(c) vs. Thunder Rosa ROH PURE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Lee Moriarty(c) vs. Blue Panther ROH TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Nick Wayne(c) vs. Titan ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara)(c) vs. The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) -Crowning of the ROH Interim Women's Television Champion.
  12. It was the regular weekly episode for Honor Club 2 weeks ago, but they just decided to put it up on Youtube yesterday. Proving Grounds is basically "win or go the distance with the champ to earn a title shot", so the reactions from both after was a bit odd, but it was Titan earning a shot at Nick's ROH TV Title at Supercard.
  13. Tony Khan has announced that Red Velvet is injured, so there will be an Interim women's TV champion crowned which has further delayed the start of the women's Pure tournament. Red is expected back "in a matter of weeks or a few months" This week's Honor will again air one hour early (6 pm est) due to Collision airing live on Thursday.
  14. This was probably the most I've enjoyed Scorpio Sky's presentation, loved the Rocky-esque theme music. Using Daniels as a manager works, hope it sticks. Another fun women's tag, and FTR/Outrunners ruled.
  15. Katarina/Kara was pretty good, surprised to see Katarina get the win there. Love to see Sprout back with Scout! But as soon as I saw the opponents, I knew there was no hope for them. Main event was a wild brawl. Love when a match gets a longer showcase like this as it always stands out. Thought for sure Miami Sweet Heat would regain here, but I dug the chaotic crazy finish there, I'm down for more from this feud.
  16. Awesome, I dig it! Looking like you're ready to step in to the ring next
  17. Pretty good show with the knockouts action being the highlight. Enjoyed the tag, the chain match, and the Tessa/Indi set up. Cardona/Edwards was shockingly short for being billed as a first time ever match. Nic/Wentz was a solid main event match.
  18. Some quick wins from Wheeler Yuta, Spanish announce Project, and Serena Deeb capped off by a solid tag match as the Infantry beat Top Flight to earn the tag title shot at Supercard next week, quick episode.
  19. Lots of awesome action, especially the opener and main event. Loving the build for All In. Hurt Syndicate/Jetspeed had me thinking TNA Champ era Lashley vs. Speedball would've been an awesome match, would still like to see it in singles with Shelton/Knight happening next week. At the moment I'm still believing Hangman wins, and thinking the Bucks win with that stip so Swerve can't challenge Hangman and/or keeping Ospreay away from the title till All IN Wembley next year.
  20. For me it airs at Midnight on Saturdays, so I'm usually watching a few days later on the DVR. Looking forward to the hardcore tag next week for sure, Miami Sweet Heat killed it in that environment in the past. the trios match was a blast. Sugar & Spice with Holidead was a lot of fun. Didn't expect the Albanian Grappler to beat Goldie so quickly. Pretty great 4 way main event. Figured Tormenta had gotten the least chances, Genesis never wins the big ones, and Paola wouldn't get a third shot so this makes sense. Loved the excellent finishing stretch with one big move after another.

  23. it's Global Wars Mexico! Fun opening tag from Thunder Rosa & Persephone over Athena & Red Velvet. Fairly short but fast paced and everyone looked good. Thunder vs. Athena is official for Supercard of Honor. Nick Wayne vs Titan was good stuff as they go the Proving Grounds 10 minute time limit. Bandido/Dorada, originally from the prior CMLL show last week, was incredible of course. An absolutely epic title match. Afterwards, Takeshita challenges Bandido for Supercard of Honor which should be fantastic. Next week, Top Flight vs. The Infantry for a tag title shot at Supercard against Dustin & Sammy. Blue Panther over Lee Moriarty in the main event, earning him a Pure Title match at Supercard. This ruled, great stuff. Panther's ramp dive is the best. After the match, STP attack Panther until Bryan Danielson brings out Dorada, Hologram, & Blue Panther Jr for the save. Danielson lays out Shane Taylor with the knee to a big pop, awesome moment. Big action packed 4 match episode which Riccaboni calls his favorite Honor Club episode.
  24. Another fun trios defense, Top Tier beat everybody. Liked the double sharpshooter finish. Two favs in Kara Kai vs Scout Parker, nice finish here as well from Kara. Good main event, actually thought Santana was winning until the end and then it was quickly off the air. I like the Classmaster run continuing.
