  1. this Abadon look came from the music video for Dir En Grey's song "Obscure"
  2. Great show. Mercedes came off like a proper mega star throughout. Wasn't sure about Okada's sudden turn but absolutely loving it already a week in, he was on fire here. Joe/Wardlow felt surprisingly short. Lionhook was fun and next week they implode already. rip Bang Bang Scissor Gang. Great main event, Riho matches are generally always fantastic, nice finish.
  3. Pretty good Impact here. I liked the various forms of promos throughout the night with Josh in the ring, Steve on the stage, and Tasha at the commentary table in addition to the various backstage stuff. Kinda wanted to see Josh and Oleg go for a bit but it was over quick. Digging Kazarian's new theme, solid match with Ace. Didn't see Rich Swann turning heel, that's an interesting twist after being face for so many years. Fun trios main event but sad to see the Maclin/Rascalz unit come to an end.
  4. Back to longer 2 hour Honor this week Billie/Diamante was an awesome opener. Hard hitting, Billie had a few near head drops there. Loved the roundhouse kick leading up to the finish. Big Shotty vs Aaron Solo was a solid competitive match. 7 in a row for Lee. Women's 4 corner survival was a fun 5 minutes with great talents. Love to see Kiera actually get the win for a change. Robyn Renegade continues to be a weekly highlight. Athena/Aisha was a nice extended squash. Athena back to original super heel mode killing her opponent afterwards. Now Athena vs Shida sounds excellent. Great Athena promo setting it up for Supercard. Top Flight & Andretti looked good. Welcome back Nick Comoroto for the first time in months. Always enjoy a Lance Archer squash plus we get Jake the Snake's first ROH appearance. Martinez/Abadon was good stuff as I hoped for, dug the finish to protect Abadon from losing clean. Men's weekly 4 corner survival was fun as well. Jack Cartwheel's cartwheel sequence with Komander up the ramp ending with Komander's Mexican destroyer was hilarious. I hoped maybe slim J would pull off the upset. Eddie Kingston vs. Mark Briscoe for the title at Supercard! Nice simple promo from Eddie bringing things back around to Mark not getting his planned shot last year. the ROH PPVs always deliver greatness. Good tag team main event. Maria was highly entertaining at ringside. Cool to have Orange Cassidy on for his first ROH match in years. Very enjoyable overall episode
  5. I thought she got really good really quick and became excellent. Great big match worker to the point that her matches were almost always standout highlights of the NWA PPVs. Top notch matches with Thunder, Serena, Leyla Hirsch, KiLynn King, Natalia Markova, Kenzie Paige, and more.
  6. Sad to see Miami Sweet Heat lose the titles again so quick, but a deserved win for the Mother Truckers after such a long rivalry and an awesome match to open up. The gimmick matches always deliver in WOW, especially when MSH are involved. This one had some stiff shots and killer bumps throughout. Great build to the main event rematch. Didn't expect it to be a double title change episode so I kept wondering how Abilene would pull it off. Amazing heel work there as I thought for sure Beast won it in the end, but the chase continues.
  7. Love the JDM win. Brutal KO by Dustin, didn't see that coming. Congrats to my all time favorite Joanna Jedrzejczyk on heading to the HOF!
  8. Good for Jojo to go out with a win and to do it avenging her first career defeat. She was an early favorite in the Invicta days. Though I do feel bad for Maryna, who I've become a bigger fan of, to now be on the 3 fight losing streak.
  9. Maclin/Nemeth was an excellent opener, great back and forth. Tag titles match was really good as well. Figured it was time for the title change, but still some nice near falls in there. Another disappointing run for MK Ultra which likely spells the end for their team. Surprising outcome but cool for Dani & Jody. Hammerstone/Josh II was good stuff again. Figured Hammerstone had to get the win this time. Knockouts 3 way was very good, all 3 looked great. Enjoyed the main event for a pretty good overall show. Cool ending visual of the System standing tall with the gold. Sacrifice full results:

  12. Catching this week's episode, great trios opener that put importance on the trios tournament. Lil J Boogie has been a highlight. Coach Campinelli is the star Holidead vs Goldie Collins was good stuff. Goldie is always a standout. Kandi Krush vs Ice Cold was short but solid, two of my favorites that always shine when given the chance. Main event was a fun revenge match/blowoff to a long running feud. Next week looks great with two big title matches to look forward to. Awesome, some of my favorites as well. Glad you are enjoying, you're welcome and welcome to the WOW!
  13. I loved Ospreay/Fletcher, great main event. Lots of amazing sequences, the super poison rana was killer and the finish looked brutal. Shocked by the Okada turn, didn't see that coming but interested to see how that goes. Matthew doing the Tony K "thanks guys" announcement intro was hilarious. Brian Cage/Hook was fun. Love to see Riho get the big win, like Skye last week. Gonna take some getting used to no longer hearing "Light the fuse!" with the change in Dynamite themes.
  14. Josh/Dango got a good amount of time for a solid main event. Luna/Masha was pretty good. Not feeling the dissension among Shelley with Sabin and Kushida but some nice build to Sacrifice throughout.
  15. Catching up on everything, not much to add but loved the show and everything about the main was pretty much perfect. The Sons of Sting continue to look like they'd make awesome wrestlers, great touch with their tributes and of course Seek & Destroy. Looking forward to the upcoming tournament. I hoped it'd be more of a weekend-Crockett Cup style especially Dynasty being in April like the originals but I understand going with more of March Madness idea so that works too. Every match was at least good, with only Toni/Deonna not being quite as epic as I hoped for. Glad to see Joe retain so he gets a somewhat longer reign and doesn't drop it in a three way. Figure Swerve still wins it next eventually but would personally love to see Joe vs Ospreay.
  16. Another quick 5 match episode of Honor, this time under an hour. Red Velvet vs Leyla Hirsch was an awesome opener. I was rooting for Leyla in the tournament but I like both so Velvet going on is cool too. Velvet vs Aminata in the semis shall be excellent, another where I'm a fan of both. Abadon squash setting up their tournament match with Mercedes upcoming, this tournament rules. Big Shotty's win streak continues. the traditional 4 corner tag was a fun main event, nice win for the Infantry.

  18. I went back through the past year+ of results and picked out what I thought were the one or two best matches from each episode. Just recommendations as of course you can pick & choose any you'd like! Going back to the beginning of 2023, here's a list of what I considered the best matches throughout 2023 into 2024. (Though there was a season changeover in the middle of the year so some talents rotated out while others came in.) I believe most everything is on their Youtube channel @WOWSuperheroes either match by match or in 30 minute cuts of the full episodes. Not sure if including all the storyline angles that play out over time such as Kandi Krush's stolen boxing gloves or the Mother Truckers going to jail, but those bits are often great too. Note that most WOW matches are 5 minutes or under with an occasional few going a little longer than that. Generally each episode is 4 matches.
  19. Maclin/Speedball was a good quick opener. Jake Something looked good in an almost squash over Laredo Kid, wouldn't mind seeing him as X Champ. the PCO/Kon backstage bit was amusing, PCO always rules. Tasha and Xia continue to have fun short matches together. Solid trios main event, never realized til they said it here that Moose vs Young has never happened before.
  20. Short episode of Honor tonight at just over an hour with only around 5 matches. Queen Aminata vs Taya was a great opener and I was pleasantly surprised by Aminata pulling the upset! Nice to see Mike Sydal back after he'd been gone from AEW for years now. Also cool to get a Taiji Ishimori appearance in for a quick squash. Blake Christian vs Komander was good stuff. Main event was fun with all the buildup and now Johnny TV has custody of The Boys.
  21. Gambino/Aussie delivered the goods. Great win for Gambino to continue the streak. Rebel Haze and Fury as sort of a new Heavy Metal Sisters made for a fun team. Nice to see the Disciplinarian pick up the win though for IQ Superior Tiki/Gloria was a fun little match, felt like a big win for Tiki. The post-match backstage scene made me interested in a Gloria/Kandi Krush team even though I guess Kandi will be turning for it. Main event was a blast. The Fab 4 are always great. Back to back big wins for the Mother Truckers, nice setup for them getting the next tag title shot.
  22. Nice additions for sure, but damn really stretching it out with the last pack not coming until November. Muta eventually being in is cool
  23. WWE 2k24 DLC confirmed during RAW: Post Malone Kairi Sane Diamond Dallas Page Lex Luger The Dudley Boys Carlito Pat McAfee Jade Cargill Mr. Perfect CM Punk Full list to be revealed tomorrow
