That was one of the Sid & Marty Kroft shows that I didn't see in syndicated reruns. I might need to track it down on Youtube

Holy Smokes!! It does exist. Here is the WrestleCrap article that talks about this gimmick as well. I kind of want to look into the multiple gimmicks of Chris Champion now. http://wrestlecrap.com/inductions/kowabunga/ -
Next Sunday, July 7th in Charlotte, NC. I am seriously considering making the 4 hour trip for this show & attending the Meet and Greet for Jushin Thunder Liger. need to complete my Super J-Cup trifecta of (Great Sasuke, Ultimo Dragon and Jushin Thunder Liger). It is at the same venue that they held the NJPW-USA Show back in February.

I am going to join the Grave of Fireflies contingent. Very compelling story of a dark time in history.

I fell into a Youtube hole of the VICE documentaries. I watched quite a few of The Wrestlers episodes . Makes me want to watch more Fred Yehi matches and definitely check into some Stardom as well. Rossy Ogawa is the same guy who was behind ARSION right? -

Oh my, so I shouldn't read the follow up. Yikes

My "pop culture" ADHD is all over the place. But I am currently reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfus. I like it and it came with a high recommendation from a coworker. I just need to buckle down and read it.
-
Given that glowing recommendation I might give it a try.

I like Venditti, Van Lente, and for the most part Lemire. I am currently reading the Book of Death trades. Of the original Valiant properties I am most familiar with X-O Manowar, Quantum & Woody, Rai , Magnus, and Solar (of course the last 2 aren't in this comics universe). I am willing to give them a choice. Diversifying my bonds and all.
-
Speaking of Valiant Comics. I have gotten really interested in some of the recent Valiant seris that have come out. Luckily I can get quite a few from the library. Which titles should I keep an eye out for?

Well said. I am by no means a member of the Cult of Lee. I tend to skew more towards Kirby, Ditko, Romita, Buscema ...et al but he does leave behind a treasure trove of work.
-
I don't know about any of the rest of us but I don't know that I could give up $14,000,000 for one year of work. Must be nice.

Paging Brandon Marshall. Paging Brandon Marshall..

As a Saints fan , pay that gentleman's surgery bill put him on the IR let's get another WR and reload . Still wonder what could have been with Dez as a WR3.
-
As much as I like seeing the Panthers getting blown out on live TV, I was hoping this would be a more competitive game.
-
I was wondering if anyone had picked up the new GL book. Hopefully I will be able to give it a try soon.
-
I liked it as a long form collection of "What if" stories. I do agree that it should have been a limited series rather than an ongoing.
