There was an erroneous comment at least in fightful's reporting that Cabana also seemed to indicate that he'd be uncomfortable working in AEW with Punk in the same building. I feel like people haven't highlighted that enough, and I honestly can't blame Cabana for feeling that way. It's definitely a two-way persona non grata situation with those two.

Yeah, that was easily the best Thursday night of week 1 college football we've ever had. Two incredible football games. You could have convinced me in some aspects that we were in November during that Backyard Brawl. Also, WVU's O-Line is not great. JT could barely get the ball snapped without getting murdered. That Morgan kid was all over the field causing nightmares. I joked in a chat that Scott Frost was smiling in approval from home when that Purdue kid puked on the sideline.

If they do some chicanery to split the belts and get the WWE Title on Drew, I kind of see him coming in to be the first daunting challenge. He definitely needs to be special attraction and limited in use.

I'm really looking forward to the Backyard Brawl tonight as well. I want to see Brown start having some success at WVU. Also, JT Daniels is kind of in no more excuses mode this season. Either he's what he was hyped up to be or he isn't, but the track record probably proves the latter.

I think he's become a better storyteller in the ring, but I still feel rarely compelled watching him. I think AEW and having to work to TV has done wonders for him though. It's all subjective. I don't think anyone can deny the talent.

I know some people debate whether it counts (I think it does), but Mysterio/Ultimo Dragon from World War 3 96 is still an all timer squash if not the best one ever. Rey really only had one small hope sequence that entire match.

Has anyone touched Madden yet? I got the super duper version (was like $10 more with EA Play), but have not touched it much yet. I think the changes to the passing game were unnecessary, but I'm not a fan of everything going the way of precision meter happy.

I need to reinstall it and finish the campaign and try some of the other stuff. My gaming time has been so limited lately.

This is a stat I can fully support.

The Ringer is almost 100% a basketball site at this point. Every podcast or piece of content seems to need to have some kind of hoops reference in it. Oddly the thing that may do it the least is Ringer MMA show. I still consume a large amount of Ringer content.

I know Malik has taken ownership of his own effort at Auburn, but Gus not being able to make Malik the guy still is a frustrating "what if?"

Outside of maybe experiencing a Bonnaroo without my ex once, the only festivals that I have any desire to attend of note are Newport Folk and then one I'd like to attend but doubt I ever will is Glastonbury.
