I went to my first MLS game since 2017 and had an incredible time. I hate the game was on Easter because it definitely impacted attendance, but a 3-0 result for the five stripes was about as good as you could ask for while also sitting close enough to the supporter's section that it allowed for some fun people watching.

I make the mistake of buying it every couple of years and then put less than 10 hours into it. I promised I would not make that mistake this year. I might do a small game pass run with it, but my cup is overflowing already.

I have the Demo installed, but I'm still trying to finish 16 (just not home in front of a console much these days), and then I'll probably jump into FF7 Remake again. I believe my last playthrough had me in Wall Market, which I've heard takes awhile.
I've watched snippets of people playing the game on Twitch, and the game does look stunning. I'm not a huge fan of adding crafting to the game (crafting is just not a gaming feature that excites me), and I am not sure I like the bench HP/MP refills being itemized.

It's an interesting middle finger from Chip to UCLA. There were rumblings that he was all but fired before the end of the season, and then they didn't (I'm guessing available coaching landscape). Now, it's even more dire for UCLA because the coaching carousel is all but shut down for the year now.

That was the one match I had the tv on for before doing stuff around the house, and it was rough to watch. Even the 11 year old who is just an 11 year old watching goes "this looks horribly staged."

There's some Eikons you get later on that I don't really enjoy because the main attack involves loading up, but that just may be me not learning how to properly navigate/maximize that.
I'm at the very end of the game, and I'm debating if I really want to do the remaining hunts and side quests before moving on to the finale. I did go through unlocking gotterdammerung .

I told a friend I'm not falling for buying it this year to only play it for a few hours. I really need to get away from sports games in general. Everything is tied to those pack systems, and if you want to do that with next to no additional money spent, you have to not have a life or other interests.

I am really enjoying the early playthroughs of The Smile's "Wall of Eyes." It's a bit closer to just being a Radiohead album than the first one from the Yorke/Greenwood project, and it's a nice holdover until whatever the next Radiohead thing ends up being in the next year or two.

Update: I am starting to see the end in sight for the base game of FFXVI. I completed the Odin/Barnabas fight. I know people complain about this game being too easy even on a gameplay driven difficulty, but I'm kind of happy with the guard rails this game gives you if you're struggling through a section. I'm at the point in life where I do not mind a small challenge, but I also just want to just reach a conclusion when a game is this long. I reached a couple of game over screens in the Barnabas chapter with the last encounter on the platform, and then his third phase where he has an instant kill attach if you don't do enough damage, and the "that's okay, we've taken care of you" aspect was nice instead of beating my head repeatedly against the section.
SpoilerThe game replenishes your potions and high potions, which I have maxed out on and still had to use most of them. (It's kind of crazy that 8 potions is the max in a Final Fantasy game).

I think they've tried it with a couple of comedy specials being live, and they have that Nadal exhibition match airing live in early March. They've been slowly dipping their toe into sports and the live content space for about the last 18 months.

Bills and Steelers pushed to Monday at 4:30 PM. Before that, there was a post from the team about asking fans to help shovel snow in the stadium all night long.

Meanwhile in the other part of the state, it sounds like Freeze is pushing out the alumni members of the staff. Carnell Williams and Zac Etheridge are leaving the staff. Odd timing to be having this stuff happening when they should be capitalizing on voldemort being vanquished.

I've done a cruise once in my life, and I kind of wished the Cruise was just going out to the middle of the ocean and doing nothing but eating and drinking by the pool. Roaming Nassau for a day was neat, but it's kind of hard to enjoy that stuff in less than a day because you boarded a port. I think staying on the island is always the better move. I say that as there's a high likelihood a cruise is in my future again within the next 365 days.
