  1. He turns 62 in March, he has spinal stenosis, and he's signed to a multiyear contract. Let's be realistic.
  2. You're right, but look at how many people base their entire personalities around how much they like Joker and/or Scarface.
  3. Yikes. I think the infamous Cornette hot tub just made a cameo appearance in this January 03 episode of Ohio Valley Wrestling that I'm watching.
  4. From 2001 to 2004, I worked in the marketing department for ADV Films. Once a week, the production department would gather together marketing and the art department and whoever else was available to watch and give reviews of undubbed pilots for shows that Japanese companies were trying to get us to license. Hardly anything we watched ended up getting licensed, because a large majority of it was garbage. (So, so many shows about robot maids and the young boys who want to fuck them.) Really, really good anime is kind of rare.
  5. Guys in OVW used to occasionally mention that they don't make any money while cutting promos. Trailer Park Trash turned heel and cut a promo about how he could finally afford to move out of his trailer after he and Flash Flanagan won the tag titles.
  6. If y'all haven't watched Friday, do yourself a favor and check it out. It's great. RIP Deebo.
  7. I haven't seen a couple display less romantic chemistry since Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Pullman starred in the hilariously named Mr. Wrong.
  8. They brought back Mae's hand as an adult hand for a gag a while back. Does that count?
  9. That haircut looked better when Joan Cusack had it in Working Girl.
  10. New Japan hates Impact and AEW, so there is zero chance of this happening.
  11. Between the crowd noise and the acoustics in the building, it's entirely possible that from their vantage point, they couldn't notice any difference in the music.
  12. Rock's gimmick really only works when he's trying to build a match that he's actually participating in. The last few times he's come out to just do his schtick and pop the crowd, he's come off as a weak parody of himself. His appearance on the first Fox Smackdown was a complete waste of time.
  13. Anything with an actual source? This is just speculation.
  14. Like a lot of the guys from this era, he was a better worker than you would think, if you were judging him solely on his push. Honestly, guys like Batista, Cena, and Orton were lucky, because they could have just as easily turned out like Damaja and Dinsmore and Conway. People complain about how guys like Ricochet and Black are used once they make it to the main roster, but the WWE has been doing shit like this for 20 years.
  15. But then he'll see Shane Strickland walking around backstage, get confused, and try to fire him again.
  16. I think that's the only style of comedy taught at the Larry Storch School Of Acting.
  17. Street Profits made fun of the Jamaican gimmick as recently as Friday's Smackdown.
  18. Y'all acting like there isn't a 99% chance he tweets out something that gets his account deleted once he leaves office and loses his special treatment as a world leader.
