  1. I am surprised WWE or TNA hasn't copied Game of Thrones yet, get some Dothraki looking guys in a tag team or a scheming little person manipulating everyone behind the scenes. You would think Vince would be all over the Lannister clan storyline.

TNA already copied Game of Thrones by making everyone a dick and punishing all good guys.

  2. I feel like someone low-blowed Torrie Wilson in WCW.

Russo was mentioned already and I assume if that happened it happened during the Russo era.  I wouldn't be shocked if there were earlier example of vagina attacks from ECW because I've always thought of Russo as a Paul Heyman wannabe.

  3. Thinking about it, how many people in the history of fictionalised violence have booked a man vs woman fight where the man hits a low blow? Because I think Benioff n Weiss just joined Vince Russo as the only people on that list.

  4. The Celtics would have to do some salary dumps to clear cap space to sign Heyward to an offer sheet.  I don't think they are sending out a couple of picks with contracts to sign Heyward while having to renounce the full MLE and the traded player exception from the Nets trade.  A sign-and-trade might be possible.

As for a possible Love deal, I get the sense that Minnesota wants to get Boston to throw a Melo-like haul of everything they can offer and Danny Ainge is the kind of GM who will resist doing that.  There are a lot of Boston fans who think that a trade for Kevin Love will lead to using the TPE to get Omer Asik from the Rockets and possibly using some unguaranteed contracts to swap for Jeremy Lin so that the Rockets have the cap space to sign someone like Carmelo Anthony.  That would give the Celtics a starting lineup of Asik, Love, Green, Bradley, and Rondo.  They'd have the MLE and the BAE to fortify a bench that is likely to include Gerald Wallace (overpaid, but probably an adequate production level for your 8th or 9th man), at least one of Jared Sullinger or Kelly Olynyk (I can see the Celtics giving up one but not both), and Vitor Faverani (who recorded a 12 point, 18 rebound game early in the season then disappeared).  I'd expect Brandon Bass and Joel Anthony to be candidates for use as trade ballast in a Love deal since they have expiring contracts.  The Celtics might use Bird rights to retain Jerryd Bayless or Kris Humphries for their bench.

My best-case scenario for the Celtics is that they trade for Asik and Love and use the MLE to sign a potential SMOY candidate who can team with either Sullinger or Olynyk to give Boston some solid scoring off the bench.

I kind of wished that instead of a battle royal, HHH had just told the assembled wrestlers that the first one to make it into the ring gets a spot, leading to a massive brawl in the aisle.

So basically an inverted reverse battle royal.

It's a horizontal ladder match, where instead of being the first one to obtain an upward goal, it is the first one to obtain a forward goal.

  6. Team Team Championship MITB would be completely insane, and lead to a pretty fun tag storyline.

Rybaxel, The Dust Brothers, Los Matadores, Jack Swagger and a new Real American, and a debuting Kalisto/Masked Tyson Kidd tandem. I'D WATCH.

I've always though it would be interesting to do a ladder match for a tag title shot where it goes to the person who gets the briefcase/contract and his chosen partner and the winner turns on his established partner to challenge for the belts with a new partner.

  7. Heath Slater should be the second-best guy to come out of the Nexus.

HHH really wants a bit part as an Englishman in the next comedic offering from WWE Films.

    Willowdust.

Would they save money by getting rid of Adam Rose's entourage?  Are we supposed to think he is secretly gay or secretly really, really English?  They should have the Exotic Express be a tag team with Rose and someone revealed to be in the bunny suit.

Dolph Ziggler got too much offense against Rollins.

I liked Cena's backstage promo before his match.

This board needs less of the following:

    • Titty master jokes
    • Wig Split jokes
    • Air Bill jokes
    • Jarrett's Database jokes

Someone won't find themselves in the database due to getting their wig split for not paying their air bill. Um, titty master.

The appropriate response is a Youtube video featuring Davey Richards moves set to a song by Pitbull.

Is Wade becoming decrepit poetic justice for 2 years of Heat fans jokes about Derrick Rose?

I expect Wade to play more minutes than Rose next season. Does anyone care to disagree?

Define play...cause if it's Wade playing NBA2K15 then totally agree

Play=accumulate numbers in the counting stat known as "minutes played"

  11. TNA just announced a Hardys reunion for the upcoming NYC Impact tapings. Sounds like they're just bringing Matt back for these tapings but wouldn't mind him being a regular again, I miss his great 06-11 WWE run.

Does Matt Hardy have an alternate identity like Willow that he can use?

Has TNA improved to the point that your first thought wasn't how long it would take before they had Matt turn on Jeff?

  12. Varys leaving with Tyrion is an interesting switch up, and almost necessary, since I don't think we've seen hide or hair of Varys since Tywin died in the books.  If he's handing with Tyrion until the handoff to Aegon and Connington, it'll at least give him half a season of stuff to do.

Going to put this in spoilers since I wonder how you can have read Book V and forgotten this but

he kills Pycelle and Kevan Lannister.

  13. Question for FSW (and any other Unsullied), who are the three characters you think are most likely to die in season 4? This is an honest question and I promise no snarky, spoiler-y hinting at whether or not your guesses are right.

If I just confine myself to people who have been there all along and not any of the new people who are suddenly important since the Reed Wedding.

I'm not saying all three.  But, like in order of most to least likely, one of them will:

Jorah - seems suddenly rather expendable and this seems like a big turning point season for Danearys. Maybe a way to really force us to ask whether we still believe in her would be to have her kill Jorah for some reason of convenience.

Brienne - They have to keep fucking with Jaime, right?

either Tywin or Joffrey - It's time to shakeup King's Landing.  Tywin would do the most to throw things into utter chaos but it has to be time, right for Joffrey, right?  It has to be.

There is a little voice in my head that says "You know it's going to be Tyrion, right, you sad mope?"  But I won't listen to that shit.  Nope.

Nobody is safe. I'll go with the two Stark girls and Joffrey.

    I'll take a stab and say -

Tywin. He seems to be the only one that can keep Joffrey under some sort of control. If he dies then I think we will see Joffrey go totally bonkers while Cersei and Jamie are helpless to stop him.

Sansa/Shae. Possibly as a catlyst/revenge for Tywin's death. Cersei sees she is losing control and lashes out at someone she knows she can hurt. Shae can't be kept be hidden forever.

Cersei. She seems to be heading toward a pretty tragic end. I could see her commiting suicide after killing Sansa/Shae knowing that Tywin is dead, Tyrion and Joffrey couldn't really care less about her, her other children have been married off and Jamie has become a totally new person in his time away.

So Tywin dies from... something. Joffrey goes power mad knowing that no-one has the guts to stop him. Cersei lashes out killing Sansa/Shae and then, realising she is totally alone in the world she kills herself.

    1.5/3

I would guess the following myself and realize that I am probably way off with these:

Joffrey: With all of the power plays going on around him combined with the Royal Wedding, now just seems like the time where he actually meets his demise.

Sir Davos: He has barely escaped the claws of death multiple times throughout this series already, so I can see that finally coming at the end of this season.

Brienne: I think her involvement with Jaime might finally mean her demise.

    1-3

We will revisit this question before the start of season 5.

  14. Great to see that Spurs get that revenge and winning the championship.  But unfortunately this makes Skip Bayless giddy with excitement and nobody deserves to see this  <_<

Given a choice, I'd rather see Skip Bayless giddy with excitement rather than Stephen A. Smith giddy with excitement.

  15. So I watched Knux vs. Kazarian from last month's iMPACT because I was kind of interested in seeing what The Menagerie was after reading about it and I just have one question: Has Taz always been this bad? I mean I barely even noticed Tenay. MIKE TENAY went unnoticed because Taz was so overbearingly awful.

Taz has always been awful.  I wish they'd just stick Borash on commentary.
