  1. I was torn on whether to post this in the BluRay/physical media thread or here. I chose here. Finally cracked open my copy of Arrow's Horror Express and it was great. The best this film will likely ever look. The disc is packed with interviews that move along pretty quick. I'm honestly not sure when I became a fan of this film. My faulty memory wants me to believe I saw this on an old b/w tv in the late 70s, but it was more likely seeing it hosted by Elivra in the early 80s. This film is also one that I have owned numerous versions of over the years.
  2. Count in as a fan of The Cool Kids. Now Bob's Burgers is the only reason I have to fire up the Fox app.
  3. Detective Pikachu was a very popular title and I think they are using it to test the waters for a future live action main-RPG movie. My wife and I went to see it last night and it's now my pick for best video game adaption to film.
  4. Phil McCormack of Molly Hatchet dead at 58. https://ultimateclassicrock.com/molly-hatchet-phil-mccormack-dead/
  5. Not sure which video you're referring to, but the one from the South of Heaven video looks like a BC Rich Wave.
  6. Eventually it looks like battered spouse syndrome.
  7. I'm not sure whether I'm trying to talk myself into buying or not buying Dragon's Dogma for the Switch. The PS3 version was fine, but no great shakes to me. But the possibility of taking my swings on the road is very tempting.
  8. I collected until the Nashville flood of 2010. Lost my small collection and haven't looked back.
  9. Last year I was replaying Marvel Ultimate Alliance when my DualShock 3 battery stopped charging. Still haven't replaced it after all this time. To assuage the MUA thirst, I've gotten back into Marvel Future Fight on my tablet. Not the same... So looking forward to MUA BO
  10. Glad you had a good experience with them. I am a fan of their company.
  11. Wonder how much Play It Again Sports gave them for their gear?
  12. Are they the Tommy Thayer of DVDVR?
  13. For the past six months I have been trying to let Hollow Knight put it's hooks in me. I watched numerous YouTube videos with gameplay footage and I liked the visual style . But here I am after numerous attempts at playing it and it still leaves me cold. Does anyone think Salt and Sanctuary would turn out the same for me? I see that Best Buy has the Switch version on sale and it would be $16 + tax after GCU discount.
  14. Want to pre-order the Guacamelee One-Two Punch that comes out in May, but my backlog is looking at me like "Really?".
  15. UPS dropped off the GOTY Edition for PS4 a couple of hours ago. Game looks good and plays smooth. Will probably burn through much more of it tonight. Of course the first thing that pops up is an ad and pre-order links for Borderlands 3.
  16. So the PS4 version of the Remaster/GOTY is showing back up on 2K's website and I just pre-ordered.
  17. I assume 2K is sold out of PS4 versions since that option is grayed out on the order page. Don't really want it on another system.
  18. You'll probably receive the game sometime this summer.
  19. I was out of line and apologize for my poor choice of words. As for Baer, he grabs her wrist and leverages her over to the ground, IMO. I have no candy for him or his apologists.
  20. Then school me. Who in your opinion thinks his actions are A-OK?
  21. Only MRAs think this guy was just grabbing his phone. Video don't lie.
  22. This show never disappoints me. Sad to see it eventually go.
  23. Wound up renting the Suspiria DVD from RedBox, German subs were automatic. If you're going to remake/remodel a treasured IP, then this is the way to go. The film was the antithesis of the original which worked in its favor. The score by Thom Yorke was spot on for the visual style. Pretty much all I can say is "Tilda Swinton!". I hope the film was successful enough that they can get to the rest of the Mothers.
  24. Wife and I started watching Suspiria last night and made it about 20 minutes into it before we both started to nod off. It was a work all day tired thing, not the movie. My question is was there subtitles for the German dialog at the beginning? My German is a bit rusty after 30 years and I was having a tough time making it out.
