  1. As soon as they figured out that the calls were coming from in the house, they gave up.
  2. I've added Slain Back From Hell to my gaming rotation. Trying to get my reflexes sharpened for the release of Dead Cells Return to Castlevania. Haven't played Dead Cells before, but I'll probably pick it up in a deal if possible.
  3. I know. Spittin' Alpacas would provide much more merchandise and advertising avenues.
  4. I keep reaching for the remote to hit "Skip" on some of these commercials.
  5. Rihanna was fine. I'm not a bigger fan because only a few of her songs touch me. And I'm as old and white as anybody on here.
  6. The only thing that saved the commercial was the Michael O'Keefe cameo.
  7. Watched the viral sensation Skinamarink last night. About 15-20 minutes in my wife exclaimed, "Did David Lynch write this?", to which I had no reply but a chuckle. There were a few moments early on that had a very nostalgic feel for me, but the length of the production dissipated that feeling as it wore on. (and on...) I see where some people are losing their minds over this film, but since I lost my mind long ago it did not have the same affect on me. Overall, I appreciate the creativity and intent behind the production, but I most likely won't add this to my physical collection. After the last of the credits rolled I told my wife that I enjoy being baffled by David Lynch and look forward to Inland Empire on Blu-Ray coming from Criterion next month. I give Skinamarink (2022) a rating of 5 Jim Van Bebber out of 7 E. Elias Merhige.
  8. Don't know why they keep flogging this horse. Check out YouTube for episodes of Amanda's by the Sea, with Bea Arthur playing the Basil part, or Payne, with John Larroquette in the Basil role, for reasons why American writers do no get British comedy. American producers should leave Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers, The IT Crowd, and pretty much every other "classic" Brit-com alone. Yes, The Office was surpassed by the redo, but they probably don't understand why either worked in the first place.
  9. Can't believe the Lakers avoided getting Kyrie. Thankful they did, but the season is not over and they have time to cook up another future harming deal.
  10. I like stupid bullshit. Rifftrax had the first movie on their YouTube channel and it's worth checking out. Haven't seen the two sequels, but if the first is any indicator they must be of the highest quality.
  11. I've never seen any of these players throw a strike, so I call bullshit on these so called "Pro-Bowlers". Seriously, out of all the big sports leagues, this one has to be the least exciting to me. It's great to see the players being honored as best among their peers, but the actual gameplay is worst than the NBA All-Star game.
  12. The Oak Ridge Boys remain the only band that played during a show that worked for me. Didn't want to see them in that situation, but it wasn't embarrassing.
  13. Yeah, show Rocky IV to your kids. You self-owning MFer.
  14. I actually learned something from watching the Royal Rumble last night and that thing is Hardy blows. The first red flag was them being announced as country/rock. Second red flag was having no bass player. Was willing to give them benefit of the doubt because bands sometimes don't get a good setup for a short performance like this, but YouTube'd one of their videos and it sucked just as bad. Normally I don't like to bag on music I don't like, but I make exceptions for cuntry rock bands with douches that look like Zak Bagans fronting them. /soapbox
  15. I've been watching Space 1999 on there. Never picked up on the Blu-Ray sets, but the episodes look great. Really tempting me to get the Shout Factory Complete set. Been a fan of that show since discovering it in the early 80s.
  16. Can't even go to a damn Knicks game without taking a Tom Savini basic course.
  17. Compared to the driving in Borderlands, I picked it up quick. Plus the fact that the Mako reminds me of the Landmaster from Damnation Alley. If only I had George Peppard and Jan-Michael Vincent riding with me.
  18. I DLed Mass Effect Legendary Edition from PS+ and am currently about 14 hours in. I've never been happier with how the guns feel and I love driving the Mako as well. Maybe one day I'll start playing games optimized for the PS5, but I'm still pretty happy with the PS3 Era games.
  19. I can't understand how anybody ever liked this Doctor Who villain-looking MF'er.
  20. I'll likely upgrade to The Seventh Seal in 4K. Pretty cool on the rest.
  21. It's just so fun to watch out of touch millionaires lose their cool when they have to interact with plebs. The fact that they're able to sustain a stream of marks that they allow into their precious stadiums is the sad part.
  22. I've never seen Brady so discombobulated. Did the Cowboys D become early 00s Ravens D or something?
  23. 14 is down, no fumble. I do giggle at Brady trying to slide into 2nd base as a tackle.
  24. To be traded by the All-Star break. Book that on your app.
