I wonder if they will change course if the crowds revolt like they did 10 years ago. -

I don't think many GMs want a combative coach who doesn't have a championship pedigree

The Liger/Tanaka vs Kanemaru/ Kikuchi from the NJPW Crossroads show on 29/08/2002 was the bee's knees. -
At some point recently we were talking about Bruiser Brody and if he would play ball with Vince and Hogan if he came in for a run. The conversation happened. Here's some second hand confirmation from someone who has no reason to lie about it:

There are alot of in ring vets too, though. Joe. Roddy. Eddie Kingston. Claudio. Sting. The Hardys. Christian. I'm not saying Ricky is a bad guy, and I haven't heard the pod so I don't know his tone when he said it, but at face value there looks to be alot of people one could lean on backstage in AEW.
-
There's alot of "veteran presence" backstage in AEW. Dustin. Taz. Jerry Lynn. Dean Malenko. Jake Roberts. The fact Ricky "doesn't have anyone in the back to talk to" isn't because the people and resources aren't available to him.
-
That says alot about Ricky if after 3/4 years in the company, he hasn't built relationships.
-
T'was a tale of two halfs. Sorry, Lions fans.

Yeah in my head I still figure that top lucha guys usually have 3-4 bookings each weekend.
-
I thought this too. Maybe it was a booking issue? The luchadores might have had existing Saturday night bookings and logistically it was easier to get them in on the Wednesday taping.
-
I just found out that they're doing a Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent which starts airing in late February. Are they showing this in the US too?
-
I tried to post the Dailymotion link...and for some reason it didn't embed or show the link. My highlight of the match? Barbarian LAUNCHED Stinger with a top rope belly to belly, and Flair quips,"there goes the franchise!"
