Rewatching Northern Exposure and in season one there's an episode with a weird Twin Peaks spoof/ homage bit on it. It's wild since TO was on ABC at the time and NE was on CBS. It reminded me of how the early 90's had a lot of "experimental " TV. Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, Picket Fences, Cop Rock, and more.

Northern Exposure just dropped on Prime. I'm already four episodes in and I love it as much as I did in 1990. And, all the music is intact.

Footloose was a fucking transformative event for me in 1984. I was 13 going on 14 and it was a smash. All we had in our small New Jersey town was going to the movies the next town over back then. Footloose was our " Rebel Without A Cause". We didn't live in a town that hated dance, music, or books, but it was the sticks. I was the first kid in Eighth grade to get a spiked haircut because of Footloose.

That was a really fun show that cooked. Santos vs. Owens ripped. I hated the Lashley promo. They had to make him and the Profits babyface because the crowds loved their heel act... but this promo wasn't badass Bobby. Besides that, I dig that they're gonna feud with Precious Paul Ellering, the AoP, Scarlett, and Kross. I love that Kross is the fifth most over person in this group . It's the only time I've given a fuck about him. I love that HHH is just trying everything with this guy, and I kinda dig that Gang Warz are back. Oh, and that finish/ angle for the main event was the most ECW type booking in awhile . And it was good, Aldis has been great so far.

My nomination for best secondary character who quietly became great at everything is Ludwig Kaiser. He's a special talent who definitely went to the Regal School of Acting.

I just read Kliph Nesterhoff"s new book, "Outrageous: Show Biz and the Culture Wars" in two days. It's fantastic, informative, and funny. Highly recommended. I'm about to start "The Friedkin Connection ", William Friedkin's memoir. I heard it was wild.

I watched it last night and it was delightful. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. I saw both the Donny and Marie Star Wars show and the Holiday Special when they first aired, so the doc was a trip back to being 8 years old and obsessed with Star Wars. Like they said in the doc, that period between Star Wars and Empire where they hadn't put it all together yet was so much fun and so weird.

I read this today during two flights and I loved it.

The show was a blast. It was the first time in months my friend Chris, who I've been watching PPV's with regularly since 2010, was able to come over. We had a great time. I filled him in on all the angles, and told him early in the show about the Punk rumors. After the main event when all the babyfaces are holding up each other's hands, I get up to go rock a piss and I say to Chris, " I knew it. What are they gonna do? Have Punk just come out and wave at the crowd?" I come back into the room and see Punk on the TV and Chris is all, " Dude, I got goosebumps!" I totally missed it AND had loudly proclaimed there was no way he was showing up exactly one minute before he did. And I'm jazzed. I have no interest in arguing with anyone about Punk, but I've been a fan since 2004 and I still am.

As an old school 80's Philly heel fan, I love that Dominick turned heel and told his old man to go fuck himself cause he's got a hot goth girlfriend and a gang of cool punks to be part of. Totally worked out for him. He made the right choice.

No one else noticed the WOOO Energy drink logo with creepy cartoon Flair on the screens? It looks like something painted on a predator's van.

So who's " The Devil "? I didn't watch the show but wasn't that gonna be a reveal?

That was a super fun show with a hot crowd. And I'm loving how everything is intertwined and actually makes wrestling sense. I loved Cody just not being able to control himself because he's THE Babyface. Most importantly, I really dug Dragon Lee vs. Axiom. Axiom's Titan tron video that's telling me he's Good Will Axiom is awful, but he's good. Lee is fantastic and all I could think of was DEAN reviewing this Dragon Lee push and being full of joy for his Tiny PAUNTS.

I actually was retrieving a rodent trap from a drop ceiling. I fell with it in my hand, so...I won?

All this Devil stuff and everything around it just screams " Black Scorpion " to me.

It made me thankful that Sweet Stan wasn't responsible for her. It's pretty clear it wasn't him, Stan would have had enough class to get busy in the rest room at the theater.

Quick update. I, in no way, going to be back to work a week later from my accident. I tend to try and, for lack of a better term, no sell when I'm hurt. Turns out falling off a ladder and landing ribs, knees, and face flat on the ladder requires significant time off from work. I'm currently at about 87% back. I have a sexy scar on my chin, my knees are ok, but blunt force trauma to the chest and ribs really spreads the lingering pain around the body. Thankfully, I'm approved to go to work a couple of days next week and do some desk work and then I'll be doing training of three new employees in the field for awhile until I'm back full time. I've been going stir crazy.

It was quick, but Cole and Patrick shit on the What chants while Bayley was trying to shut them down.
