  1. A rebuilding of TNA under new management would be pretty easy. How much money are the house shows REALLY making? I'd cut those down to maybe 4 a month (if not less or eliminating them all together). PPV's would be cut to 3 (Lockdown, Slammiversary, and Bound For Glory). I would get rid of 'THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR GIMMICK' of any and all PPV shows. The first one will definitely save TNA money and the later will save them face. Also, 6 "Clash" Style shows springled throughout the year that occur on Sunday on Spike and are free (Hardcore Justice and Destination X would be two of those shows because they definitely have gimmicks- the remaining four shows should have COMPLETELY NEW NAMES) As far as the roster is concerned, the releases would look a little like this: Spud, Shaw, Taz, Tenay, Hemme, Brisco, Bischoff, and Tapa Hired/Re-Hired: Sarah Stock, Colt Cabana, Paul London, Cheerleader Melissa, Elijah Burke, Brian Cage, Young Bucks, Mike Striker (commentator). I think Bradley has potential and Jesse has shown potential as well, so both of those guys would stay. Rob Terry would stay but he will be facing guys like the guy EC III faced for his BFG debut.
  2. The Black Friday Sale looks pretty good. I was thinking about getting all of their 2005-2006 DVDs...only 100 bucks plus shipping. Not too shabby. Me being a cheap ass and all I can see myself only getting the 2005 set for 50 and change and waiting until next year.
  3. I hope the new owners understand that its the 21st century. TNA built their entire promotion around a 20th century business model without understanding WHY that worked at the time. Overall that has been TNA's biggest problem. They look at someone like The NWO and think if they run a major heel company takeover angle then the buys will come in. They look at Austin/Mcmahon and think if they have a heel authority figure then the money will come in. They look at the way Nitro and Raw started in the late 90's and decided Impact needs to start that way every Thursday. They looked at the Monday Night Wars and thought that moving to Mondays would bring the viewers in. All of this stuff worked in a bubble and under certain cirumstances. Everyone here understands, so I will not review. The new owner(s) hopefully can look at the world and realize a few things: - The biggest PPV draws right now are NOT HEAVYWEIGHTS. - KIm Kardashian is one of the highest downloaded/search for female celebrities. -The UFC has a female referee. - Bellator, UFC, Glory, ONEFC, etc. do not book their shows/company SOLELY around THE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE (or even as a chief principle in some cases). -SHIMMER,Chikara,HUSTLE, Strikeforce, G1, Dream, Shine, and Evolve are some of the names of promotions started in close to or near the 21st century. - Normal everyday people have used youtube to make themselves 6 figures a year and in some cases millionairies. These people have FANS and are looking for more exposure. These 6 things are VERY important for the new owners to understanding. I feel everyone on this board knows why I brought up these points.
