The one thing I really found fascinating is the evolution of The Horsemen gimmick. At the beginning, they were just like a gang of "cousins" (Ole, Arn, Ric) and their buddies, JJ and Tully, that got together to fuck with Dusty and his friends. They were more of a rougher gang IMO. Jumping Dusty in the cage, the famous arm breaking angle, jumping MOrton in the dressing room, etc. Then when Ole left, the group evolved more into the "Symbol of Excellence" playboy, "we're richer and better than you", "Greed is Good" mentality that defined the 80s.

Garvin getting a monster face pop for knocking out Dusty is one of my favorite moments. Bonus points for Windham being a complete dick by still putting The Claw on an unconscious Rhodes anyway.

You have to level up your fanny pack in order to store more "gimmicks". Instead of a "Wanted" system for breaking laws, you get "Heat" by not shaking hands, stooging to the office or breaking kayfabe.

Now I want a video game based on the Indie wrestler experience where you have to level up the size of your gimmick table to make money.

I'm pretty sure Funk was just running interference so that his buddy could haul an illegal load of Coors Light so that some rich Texans can settle a bet.

My local Gamestop didn't have Greedfall so I traded in Elden Ring and got Mount and Blade II. Will probably order Greedfall online. Off topic but did the pandemic destroy Gamestop or something? There used to be at least 4 of them in my medium sized town (Charlottesville, VA) and now they're down to 1. It's understaffed and they've cut back their hours to where they open at noon during the week when they used to open at 10am every day. The one I went to only had one guy working today and the line was pretty long. I was there for about 45 minutes as one of the guys in front of me was trading in a PS4 and the lone worker had to hook it up to a monitor and make sure it worked before taking the trade. There also somebody in front of me who was pretty clearly trading in some stolen games. The only id he had was an inmate id that didn't look anything like him. His brother was with him and he had an id, which when I caught a glimpse of it, didn't look like him (the brother) either. I'm guessing the clerk just didn't feel like dealing with it and wanted to keep the line moving so he barely glanced at them. The only reason I stayed was because I'd driven about 30 minutes across town and didn't want to go home empty handed.

Thanks for all of the info guys! I think I'll see if I can get a used copy sometime this week. Also, anyone ever play Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord? Was looking up strategy RPGs and this looked intriguing as you can actually fight and it's not just turn based.

Just finished Elden Ring so looking for a more traditional open world game. Had my eye on Greedfall. Has anyone here played it? And if so, what are your thoughts?

Finally beat the game. Realized I left a whole region untouched (the one where you can do Fia's questline). Might mess around in there for a bit to check it out but can't see myself doing NG+. Definitely need a palette cleanser game after this one. Might do another playthrough of Borderlands 2 or 3.

I just gave up on trying to beat her. Her healing is just bullshit. I'm at the end game and I just want to beat Radagon and The Elden Beast. They've beaten me about 20 times in a row now and I'm getting tired of it. I'm at like level 135 and neither my mimic tear or Tiche who are both at 10 seem to do much of anything. This is pretty much the most unenjoyable game I've ever played.

Farmed the Magma Blade. Beat the Blood Omen dude pretty easily. I'm ready to take on Radagon and end this shit.

Don't blame you. The whole area is pretty ridiculous. It just seems that this game goes out of its way to not be fun at times. There are times when I do like playing and then there's something like this that just grinds the experience to a halt. Reminds me of those stupid DiMa puzzles in Fallout 4. Luckily it's optional but it's just one of those things that sucks the fun out of the game.

I tried Malenia and she's killed me roughly 50 times so far. Might give it a few more tries before just saying fuck it. It's not fun at this point. I'm definitely ready to just be done with this game.

My revision, just make the damn thing a triple threat with Undertaker. Say he got screwed in the Cell by Kane and that's how he's in it. Have Taker go over or have HBK pin Taker via Kane interference again.

The biggest fallout from this would be that Kurt Angle would have to get different theme music! No "You Suck! You Suck!". I don't want to live in this timeline.

I think there's a lot of platforming to get to her and I HATE that in games. Also, I'm kind of at the point where I just want to finish this game and move on. I've unlocked the Ashen Capital so I think I'm just gonna go fight the mandatory bosses there and finish up.

That was my issue with killing Malaketh Black Blade. The area around him was way harder than he was. All of the platforming, beast men and hawks had me dying a ton. Once I finally got to him, I beat him in three tries just by Rotten Breathing him and running away and getting in random hits while my mimic did most of the damage.

Meh, it would probably make more sense for him to wear UGA gear. I lived in Atlanta for a while and even though GT is located there, way more people in ATL are UGA fans than GT fans.

Also, is it normal to use the same weapon the entire game? I've been using Bloodhound Fang for the entire game pretty much.

I just beat the Godskin Duo. The difficulty of this game is all over the place. I pretty much stomped them in just two tries. Those stupid knights that guard the portal killed me more than The GD. I had to use Bewitching Branches on one of them and sneaking to get past the other ones. First time I fought the GD, I got their health pretty far down but then that fat one hit me with his rolling attack and I got stuck in a corner where it kept damaging me. Second time, I just stayed away and did Scarlet Rot on them and let my Mimic Tear and the other dude whittle them down.

One idea that I thought would be cool would be a show that looked at things from the perspective of the small folk. Pick a community of small folk in Kings Landing or Winterfell or something and follow them. You hardly ever see members of the noble houses as they're like rock stars and celebs. The reason I thought that would be interesting is because of Jorah's quote from the first few seasons of GOT when Dany said that her bro kept saying the small folk were clamoring for a Targ return and Jorah was like they don't give a shit who's on the Iron Throne as long as they're left alone, there's rain, long summers and the children are healthy.

I can't think of any Miz match that I'd rather see over any Punk match. Miz does nothing for me in-ring as he seems like a generic WWE Create-A-Wrestler in that regard.

If they nerf Rotten Breath I might as well stop playing. That's pretty much how I beat every boss. Summon my Mimic Tear or Lhutiel, let them take the aggro, Rotten Breath and then channel my inner King Arthur and run away, run away.

He did create the famous "Hulk Down" formula which worked as he beat Hogan by countout in that match!
