June 2023 Wrestling Discussion
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
The news got me thinking… did Stan Lane ever wrestle for the WWF? (Not counting his stint as a color commentator of course.) By the time WWF had their crossover with SMW, Jimmy Del Ray had already replaced Stan in the Heavenly Bodies. Did the Fabs ever have a one-off at MSG? -
That was comedian Chelcie Lynn. She’s married to Officer Greg of YouTube/Facebook game.

That giant swing on top of the cage was insane. Goes to show you how much trust Jericho has with Claudio. What was the point of pulling up the ring apron and padding? I don’t recall anyone taking any bumps on the boards. Could that have been a planned Santana spot or were they possibly going to do a flaming ring spot with the rubbing alcohol?

MLW Deserves Its Own Thread
A Guy Named Tracy replied to RIPPA's topic in FEDS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK
I’m not going to spoil it, but there was an awesome return to Azteca Underground during the last Philadelphia taping. It should make a lot of people here very happy. -
I only had two gifts from Da Crusher statue to share. Sorry!

I sent you and @RIPPA a cool wrestling related gift. VanDwnBytheRivr

NXT Takeover XXXVI - 8/22/2021
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
Wrestling as an art form is an illusion. The crowd is supposed to believe that the two competitors are destroying each other, when in reality they are working light as a feather. WALTER/Ilja was not this. That was two dudes beating the dog piss out of each other and I loved every second of it. -
MAY 2021 Discussion of Wrestling.
A Guy Named Tracy replied to The Natural's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
I couldn’t find a separate thread for A&E’s Most Wanted Treasures show. Like all realty shows, you can tell that most of what happens is scripted/pre-arranged. With that being said, the show is really enjoyable. It’s a little surprising that some of the legends have their memorabilia stored in totes in either their attics or a storage unit instead of being displayed in their home. Bob Backlund has been the highlight so far. The man is a lunatic, and at 71 years of age, is in far better shape than I am. -
El Jefe is alive!! Is the Azteca Underground stuff going to go here or in the MLW thread?

2021 Post-Mania WWE Purge
A Guy Named Tracy replied to ChesterCopperpot's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
During last April’s purge, there were a bunch of NXT roster cuts, but the cuts weren’t made public until days later. -
WRESTLEMANIA 37 Post Match Thread
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
I just finished the main event of night 1. Bianca is such an amazing athlete. Is she the first woman to ever hit a running shooting star press? -

Kevin Owens’ promo was really good and Bianca’s was just fine. -
WRESTLING ON THE INTERNET NOT FROM THE NOW
A Guy Named Tracy replied to RIPPA's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
I’m bumping this up because this user has uploaded tons of rare footage that I’ve never seen before. Barnett’s WCW Australia from the 70s, lots of Wrestling at the Chase episodes, Hawaiian wrestling from the late 70s to mid-80s, Buddy Rose compilations, and multiple WWC videos. -

YouTube user CWAMEMPHIS is uploading a lot of stuff from the NWA On Demand streaming service. Here’s the Andre/Harley Race match from Houston where Race slams Andre on the concrete. -
2020 Wrestling podcasts thread
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Rev Ray's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
I have the exact same question. I am going on a long road trip next week and was looking into becoming a patron for Ron Fuller’s Studcast and Between the Sheets. Are these Patreon shows stream-only or can I download them? I don’t know what type of phone reception I’m going to have. -
The new Timeline featuring Mickie and Trish is excellent. That storyline was done so well.

Raw is Cedric The Businessman - 9/7/2020
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
It looked like Ivar hurt himself on that dive at the end of the match. I watched it back, and he threw up the X sign after landing. Looked to be a leg injury. -
It’s being reported by Mick Karch that Kamala has passed away.

I legit LOL’ed when the Retribution member used the chainsaw on the ropes. Cut one rope. Stop and celebrate. Cut the middle rope. Stop and celebrate. Then cut the bottom rope. It was ridiculous.

Santos cut a heck of a promo. Poor Drake. It looked like he completely missed the table during the Phantom Driver spot.

MAY 2020 WRESTLING CHAT.
A Guy Named Tracy replied to The Natural's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Also shocking was that Darren Young namedropped Randy Orton (amongst a couple others) as wrestlers who had his back and supported him when he came out of the closet. -

I remember Meng and The Barbarian doing the piledriver version once or twice. I think they switched to a similar setup, but Barbarian would catch the guy upside down and then deliver a power bomb. -
I don’t think there is any chance Drake wins next week. This whole tourney has been building up to Fantasma’s reveal as the mastermind behind the kidnappings.

The Viceland Wrestling Documentaries
A Guy Named Tracy replied to Nice Guy Eddie's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Allegedly Animal burned his leg prior to the match too. Hawk parked his cycle too close to Animal’s, and Animal had to dismount on the wrong side. Animal then burned his leg on the exhaust. -

Total deadpan delivery too. I legit LOL’ed.
