  1. And "Because cocaine" is no longer an excuse like it was in decades past.
  2. Speaking of which, Braun looks like he's dropped about 30 pounds in the last few months, but in a good way. His cardio for a 20 minute match was better than I was expecting.
  3. As of a year ago, Fridge was way on the wrong side of 400 with a drinking problem.
  4. That match had a 3-1 lead. The booking plus them losing their chi after what seemed like a benign blown spot at first killed it.
  5. In a vacuum you're not wrong, but 1) Sami's whole deal isn't he gets killed, it's he comes up short to maintain sympathy and 2) given how Sami sold every single thing as an ailment, it didn't hurt Joe to give Sami some offense.
  6. Baltimore makes a hell of a lot of sense for Cooks as a landing spot. But trading out of R1 isn't Ozzie's deal.
  7. Tony Romo to the Potatoes would be the most Potatoey thing the Potatoes have ever Potatoed.
  8. Jerry Lawler didn't spend a decade-plus of his career taking ladder/table bumps. The Hardys' 40something is older than most.
  9. By the way, just as impressive as the fight with Reigns, Strowman more than held his own dueling verbally with Foley. That's not nothing.
  10. Yeah. Swinger and his Breitbart fact sheet was a walkaway moment.
  11. It took Triple H hitting the Douchebag Nos button to save a segment that otherwise consisted of Seth Rollins making boo boo face for (seemingly) 45 minutes.
  12. They might need a second teleprompter for him. One for each eye. And as far as inductor, since Cornette is PNG, I would figure either Flair or Lawler.
  13. I have to give them credit: There's not a lot of things that they've written that makes MORE sense than Triple H having an NXT ace as his hired muscle.
  14. "If this is anyone but Steve Allen, you're stealing my bit!" -Krusty The Clown
  15. Except it fit perfectly with the story told here, which was "I have to throw every fucking thing I know at this guy in order to beat him because the normal stuff isn't working". Which is punctuated by the fact that he knew one AA wasn't going to cut it.
  16. A high 5-figure/six figure payoff for a night's work is hard to say no to, period.
  17. In a perfect world they'd spread out their part time attractions throughout the year, especially in this world of 16 Network Specials (né PPVs). But that, in modern terms, is now becoming the thing that sets Mania apart. Not necessarily make better, but different. And it has always been their priority to make WrestleMania bigger than everything else and right or wrong, this is how they've elected to do so
  18. If the means to an end here was having Bray Wyatt go over the hump once and for all, THEN it makes sense for Orton to win the Rumble. But it doesn't explain why everything that's going on in that story seems out of sequence. Like I said, curveballs to tropes.
  19. Or the legal precedent of incapacitating someone and taking their spot, RE 2004. Which would have to be granted by the person who did it in the first place. Especially since they made the point of doing the "banned from the building" thing early, but that wasn't the only trope they threw a curveball on tonight. So, whatevs.
  20. He really should have clarified with Dean if it was 1-2-go, or 1-2-3-go. That and Graves salivating over Enzo's imminent death were the two funniest parts of the rumble.
  21. No, logic would dictate a pissed off Lesnar costs him the title and that's how KO squeaks by.
  22. I wanna say that match books itself, but it's not a mortal lock.
  23. I will admit I thought because AJ-Cena wasn't ending the show it tipped off AJ winning because that's booking 101. Nope.
