That reminds me: was the Hart Attack ever actually referred to on commentary as the Hart Attack? I can't remember it ever happening.

The moment Vince dies, six druids in black robes will appear. They will carry his corpse into the secret chamber and hook him up to an apparatus much like Emperor Palpatine's in Rise of Skywalker. He will continue to rule...er...lead his company from beyond the grave!
Close, but no. I'm thinking more Darth Vince. Only instead of screaming "NOOOOOOOOO" he'll be screaming "WHAAAAAAT A MANOOOOOOOOOOVER"

At one point wasn't OZ advertised for the Chamber too?
Yes. The heel team was originally announced as Oz, Diamond Studd (the birth of the Outsiders???), One Man Gang, and Barry Windham.

I've always been confused by the first few seconds of the Hogan-Andre match at WM3. Hogan goes for the slam right away and falls backwards. Joey Marella counts three, even though Hogan got his shoulder up. Was this a botch by Marella, was he "calling it as a shoot," was it a face-saving spot for Andre, or what?

Did Benoit really say he wants his ring name to be Chris Benoit Jr.? That seems like a really REALLY bad idea.

Gold Ribbon?

Ugh. Just forget it.

Yes, but at least it gave us the pretty great Bret/DiBiase exchange at the end.
Ending with Bret dropping a (silent) F-bomb.

Anybody who needs help with NNN, go back to the first page of this thread and gaze upon the horror that is Abdullah in an enormous banana hammock.

Someone should tell Kevin Smith he can buy new clothes.
And he doesn't have to have that stupid expression on his face when his picture is taken.

The WCW Patriots were just fine. Harlem Heat 2000 had Norris, so that automatically puts them ahead anyway.
I suppose, but come on. I admit Curtis Thompson was fine. Todd Champion was absolutely not.

Which team was clumsier and less coordinated: Harlem Heat 2000 or the WCW Patriots?

Come to think of it, Cornette's line about Ahmed's day job as a UN interpreter was pretty great.

I don't remember Ahmed getting heat so much for hurting other guys as hurting himself, but that was all a long time ago and who wants to remember Ahmed Johnson anyway?

You'll find that it's not the end of the world to stop watching for a few months or a year or more. The only thing you lose is the current stuff, and it's easy enough to catch up. Memphis and Georgia and NWA-WCW and ECW and 90's AJPW and anything else you might like aren't going anywhere.
Only the new stuff is affected. And in fact, it occurs to me that there's something to be said for letting other folks sift through all the junk on new TV, leaving behind the best recommended matches and angles.
I was going to post Orson Welles clapping here. Use your imagination.

If you looped the gif a little earlier, it would look like his finisher was just rocking the guy's head back and forth until he fell asleep.
That would be a fucking awesome finisher. Too bad "Go To Sleep" is already being used.

Is it just me, or was Ventura's physique really never anything special for a guy who called himself "The Body?"
