  1. Jarrett's actually signing autographs near me later this month. I'm legit wondering if he's going to be shilling karatbars while he's there.
  2. I've never really read anything by Will Eisner other than a few online public domain stories. I keep telling myself that I'll check out the Spirit one day. I've also never read Maus, which is surprising after how many good things I've heard about it.
  3. I've got the full series, but I'd still snag all of these. My one concern is whether they've had to do any editing with any of the Sax Rohmer characters.
  4. Steve should just market his own using his podcast catch phrases. I'd buy one if it said that Cougar Life or whatever website he was promoting ad.
  5. Dunn told me that was Kevin Owens' fault. He gets in the front of the line then moves really slowly.... y'know, cause he's fat That's only because Vickie Guerrero and Mickie James are holding up the lines at the bank.
  6. He's showing footage of amateur wrestling.
  7. Its just 26 pages of your username over and over And at the very end, just the word "bandanas." needs more "brother" in there Don't forget the occasional "dude" and "jack."
  8. Yep. For example, the purple Savage Macho Man shirt is at 19.99 while the other colors are down to 14.99.
  9. Before the empty arena match, trying to light one up? Yep. When he saw the cameras were rolling he dropped it and stepped it out pretty quick.
  10. I do. Aside from just fun stuff, I've done Nanowrimo twice and have another novel I'm working on now. And discipline's my biggest problem. I'll plan to write and then I spot something shiny and then it's time for bed.
  11. Pretty much. We've all known each other for a good while now, and friends tend to have stupid inside jokes with each other. Didn't Nova invent that?
  12. Haven't read them all to be sure, but you might check out some of Adrian Street's books for a first-hand look at the scene. I believe that I Only Laugh When It Hurts (the beginning of Street's wrestling career), So Many Ways to Hurt You, and Sadist in Sequins cover that time period.
  13. This would have been my entry. A thoughtful cat.
  14. Tennesee Hillbilly's needs to be used more in wrestling. Also who would own the PPW masters? Could be something fun to add to the Network (and the never show). Shawn Stasiak top heel...I need to see all of this. Not sure who'd own the masters but my best guess would be WMC in Memphis or Randy Hales. And I'll vouch for it being fun to watch. It's weird, but still fun to check out.
  15. I've read it. It's only the start of his days in the US - I remember his time in Memphis, Florida, and the NWA is covered. His Dusty Rhodes stuff is great. Overall it's another really good, really fun chapter of his bio.
  16. Those exclusives have me tempted to pick up the blu-ray. I don't know much about Memphis Championship Wrestling and would like to learn more.
  17. Came across this while I was seeing the news about Perro Jr. Great shot of two generations of luchadors. And the original core of the Perros...
  18. I agree completely with Street's books. I've read two of them, and his story about "Busty Rose the American Queen" had me in stitches. If anybody's interested in checking them out, he's also selling them through his Ebay store under seller name rupetbear for half price -$12.50 and he'll sign them for free as well.
  19. I want to see the vignettes where Regal takes his team to tea and tries to teach them to be proper English gentlemen like he did with Duke Of Earl Bobby Eaton. "Philip, what do you think the poor people are doing?" "Who cares. WHO CARES ABOUT ANY OF THIS! I'M LEAVING!" This could only be improved by Lord Alfred Hayes and the Coliseum Video cameras being Regal's special guests as well.
