I would like Rogue Legacy to go on sale too but I don't expect it. I got Retro City Rampge last week so I'm pretty good to be honest. I might get Arkham City if it's down to $5 but I can't imagine myself picking up much else this time around.

What is always weird to me is when I hear people who have tried for years to get into the board or whatever. If what we had before was some sort of inadvertently enclosed community I can only wonder just what is to come.

I kind of missed the rzombie notes about superstars/main event/nxt/sms. I don't actually follow that stuff well so just having a listing of what happened quickly and the quick comments if something stood out helped. Wasn't there a Dolph/Cesaro match on Main Event this week or last? Was that good?

My general feeling on, let's say Steph Brown, right now is that I do not want her back, because if she was back, she'd have a weird wildstorm-esque 90s costume and would probably be a go-go dancer in her secret identity or something.

Phil said at some point that he didn't want to think about how big a part of his life this place is, and it's really true. The Board is all things to all people like nowhere else on the internet for me.

One thing i especially loved about DD is how Waid effortlessly works things in. If this was written in the height of the Jemas era, we might have still gotten a story that hit this mark, but it costs nothing to bring in the Sons of the Serpent and it adds a lot. It's just a great mix of big concept storytelling, solid execution, and an embrace of the sandbox instead of seeing it as a hindrance. All of Marvel is basically like that right now and has been for the last few years.

I am watching 1979 Portland (into 1980 now) and 1984 Memphis. I am also watching 1994 WWF which means I've surpassed you. I'm just past Mania. Youtube is amazing.

It would actually be a lot of fun if they brought up the entire Guardians of the Galaxy cast like they did the Avengers. it's such a weird group. Glen Close, Batista, Karen Gillan, Benecio Del Toro, Zoe Saldana, John C. Reilly, Michael Rooker. That Pratt guy. What a weird frigging cast!

I've read a lot of the "steampunk for YAs" stuff over the last few years to make sure the books are good/appropriate for my kids, and the Leviathan trilogy was the best of the bunch. I am reading The Caning about Representative Preston Brooks' public caning in the Senate of Senator Sumner of MA and it is just written okay, but it's a bunch of stuff I don't know so I'm enjoying it.
