Netflix has announced that Season 5 will be the final season

No you aren't confused - they are still working in production for Season 4

No time tables for anything were provided

Is Henry Cavill still not the Witcher?

  2. Read Children of the Vault, and it was OK for a Bishop/Cable short, but utterly pointless. Things happen, then everything unhappens. About the only important thing happens in the last issue when one of the Children name drops the current Big Bad.

Take Two Interactive is the latest in the massive layoffs department

5% of their staff which equates to roughly 550 employees

Unofficial scuttle is it is being done to help fund the purchase of Gearbox (which is being done via Take Two stock)

Last year, Take Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnik’s compensation was 42.1 million USD, which was more two and a half times higher than his 2022 salary at "just" over 16 million USD.

  4. The benchmark itself will be released for download in a couple more days, which'll let you put your own character or roll a new one (including the new Hrothgals) to insert into it.

So far I'm still conflicted on Viper - a lot of it looks like what Ninja is/should have been. And I'm still crossing my fingers that this computer is enough like a PS4 to still run it at lower end graphics.

Rachel's always had the scars. She just usually masks them.

    Spoiler

Ah, I thought they had removed them for the newer, younger version, that they'd grabbed her before she got them

...but there's a good 15 year gap in my X-folk knowledge I'm still slowly filling in.

The first volume of White Sand, a previously unpublished novel by Brandon Sanderson that he's tried to turn into a graphic novel a couple of times, was OK. There's some interesting world building in there, but the art is absolutely doing it no favors.

Read the second volume. The art was still overly busy awful, then the artist changed and it was a different kind of flat awful. There's a lot of skipped steps here, things that would've been talked about, worked through, etc. in novel form that are just ignored here for brevity's sake. I still am interested in the setting, and it's another neat magic system he's created, but this format is not ideal for his kind of stuff.

I had to check the Marvel Wikia list of appearances in order, he hasn't been seen since.

Sinister was wearing a clone body of Doug.

Ugh. I need to yell at my library to get more of the collected titles. That Hellfire Gala ending with Xavier on the beach and "Population: 1" seems like their missing one really big mutant.

Went ahead and installed Torchlight II.

Beat this on normal as an Outlander (pew pew), and you can either New Game + or endlessly run maps. I decided to try Hard, on an Engineer (basically two handed stuff). Since I constantly felt underleveled, I am taking the time to actually clear the areas before diving into the dungeons, which is the opposite of how you wanted to play the first game.

  10. Read through a collection of Nella Larson prose. It's... OK? Quicksand annoyed me until the last chapter turned it into a horror show. Passing felt incomplete, like there was another chapter afterwards that didn't get written/published. The shorts were short. Still worth reading to see Harlem during the 20's through the eyes of those who lived there, but you may need to grit your teeth to get through it.

In my quest to find all the old ARPGs I used to own back before Steam was a thing, I picked up Torchlight and Torchlight II for less than $7 during the Steam Spring sale. Torchlight is still as charming as ever.

Took a couple tries, but beat Torchlight. The final boss is a pain, but it's all fun. There's a mechanic I don't remember, about "retiring" your character and giving an heirloom to a new one, but I need to read up on it before I decide to try again. Went ahead and installed Torchlight II.
