I kind of agree with you on that. I think it would be fine if it were, for example, First Name "Ricochet" Last Name, but they don't really name guys like that much anymore (unless there's some glaringly obvious examples I'm missing). My gut instinct was to say at first that he's too recognizable as Ricochet, but then again, they've changed the name of much higher profile guys.

I feel like I was just posting about this semi recently, but I was reading some article about Taz that was posted on reddit, and there was a YouTube video of his debut vs. Angle at the Rumble in the Garden, and I've been wistfully reminiscing about the short aisle at the Garden for the last few minutes. It got me thinking that one of these days, if enough people are into it, we should gather photos or even screenshots of like the best 50 or 100 entrance sets/ramps of the last 30 years and have a tournament or something. I did notice that on the raw after WM last year, they used a lot of language to leave the door open while still touting all the mainstream coverage Takers retirement got. A random thought: One thing I really dislike about WWE using essentially the same entrance set for every show is the fact that there aren't unique things for guys to climb on or use as plunder if they brawl up the ramp I'm watching Sullivan vs Benoit from Bash at the Beach 1997 and I'm watching Sullivan use a surf board as a weapon and it's just a neat little detail that probably won't be returning any time soon, if ever. I also just want to say that I know I said that I don't usually watch Chris Benoit matches, but I just decided to watch this one since its Kevin Sullivan's last match
